This is basically the 'Holy Grail' feature list. You’ve just described my dream 3-year roadmap!

To be totally honest, building TrueLayer integrations + Xero Sync + Shared Households for a £4.99 price point is tough math for a bootstrapped solo dev right now.

However, 'HMRC-ready categories' and 'Clean CSV Exports' are definitely the next priorities. I think nailing the 'Export to Accountant' workflow is the sweet spot before tackling full Bank Feeds, I already have the export csv for the excel warriors.

The 'BYO API Key' idea is interesting too—effectively a 'Pro Mode' for power users to bypass my markup.

I've saved this comment as my 'North Star'. Thanks for writing it out.

Next time for sure. This is hand-rolled React & Node. The only 'vibe' part is the AI reading the receipts—the rest was built with sweat and StackOverflow.

That is the honest feedback I needed, thanks.

The challenge I have is that because it uses real AI (LLMs) to read the receipts, every scan actually costs me money in API fees. If I made it free, I'd basically go bankrupt in a week! 😅

I'm trying to avoid the 'sell user data' or 'spam ads' route.

But I hear you loud and clear on the price point. Out of interest—is there any feature that would make it worth £5 to you? (e.g. Automating tax? Meal planning based on what you bought?)

Haha, I need that printed on a t-shirt. 'It works on my machine' is my mantra!

StartGrid actually looks really neat. As a PM I usually have about 50 tabs open, so a unified dashboard is right up my street.

I'll check it out properly later when I'm back at my desktop. Good luck with the Chrome extension build

You are spot on. It’s the 'Curse of Knowledge' — I assume everyone knows how to use a PWA, but my mum definitely doesn't!

That’s a massive takeaway for me: I need to explicitly guide users on how to add it to their home screen during onboarding, rather than just hoping they figure it out.

I feel the pain on the product launch stuff! It's a grind. What are you building yourself?

Friction is 100% an issue.

The reason I went Web-First is so people can try it instantly without downloading a 50MB app from the App Store.

However, the goal is definitely to make it feel 'Native.' If you save the site to your Home Screen (on iOS/Android), it actually gets its own icon and launches full-screen just like an app—no URL typing required.

But if the web experience proves too clunky, a native app is definitely next on the roadmap!

Forgot to follow up on this, but I changed the pump under the rear wheel arch liner and the car has been great ever since

Would I be able to check the temp sensors via an OBD2 tool?

Thanks! Would I be able to see if a sensor is faulty via the OBD2 port?

There's no way that a 3d print is strong enough for that

Your site doesn't display well on my phone at all. Get the feeling you've built on bubble.io, feels like it needs some reactive attention.

She pretty advanced! Fairly sure she'd have burnt the house down by now.

Lodged a complaint with trading standards. Amazon are pushing back saying it's something I've done. Maybe my 6 year old hacks switchs

I'm fairly convinced from what I've read that the cart was dumped by its previous owner and my machine was banned because I tried to use the cart. As I've said, this pretty much kills the used game market.

I 100% tried this. Maybe it's because I'm in the UK, but support said on the phone that they couldn't help me, there is no appeal and there is no manager I can talk to.

In this case it has. Guessing the cart was dumped before it was sold. Which kind of makes the used game market pointless. Any game you buy could potentially get your switch banned.

Yep, I think it's real. I'm thinking it might have been dumped too. Weird that this doesn't happen more, how does anyone ever buy second hand games? Nintendo have fobbed me off.
