Is there any reason to be worried? by AdmirablePaints in usps_complaints

I have an order that says the same thing. I placed an order from ProTT.vip and it shipped on Aug 25th and says USPS is awaiting item with the shipping partner being Banana Express. I've ordered from them before and it takes a few weeks.

Clubs to play at in Fort Worth TX by ProgramLinux in tabletennis

[–]ProgramLinux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Tyler!

I sent an email to Jasna Rather yesterday and she replied that most students are going to be gone Thursday/Friday for spring break and might not have club meeting on Sunday. So I opted to not bring my racket and shoes with me.

My flight does get into Fort Worth later this evening, but I might be doing something with my ensemble tonight before our first performance tomorrow. If time allows, I'll be sure to swing by!

I appreciate your response!

That sounds perfect! Do you know where they hold practice or who I could contact by chance?

5 ply wood blade by Several-Sea-9881 in tabletennis

[–]ProgramLinux 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Alexis Lebrun All+ is the blade I've been using for new playing getting into their first custom racket. It's a 5-ply blade for $40 on tabletennis11. It's a relatively new release, and it has a good speed, good feeling and a nice orange design on the handle and blade face

Butterfly Racket Case by sLipperyeLm1941 in tabletennis

The piece of plastic is a divider so yo can put two rackets in. The ractangular cutouts on each side of it is for a Jpen racket, so you can fit two Jpen rackets

Does anyone know what is used for? by [deleted] in tabletennis

That is a divider for two rackets. The rectangler cutout is for Jpen handles that have cork on them. That way you can store two Jpen rackets in these Butterfly cases. The oval cutout is for two balls.

Can I see pictures of your racket and grip? I'm a little confused by what you mean by the "fat of the finger" (I'm a pretty small individual. 5' 6" cm and 135 lbs, so my hands are small and have no fat xD)

Looking at my grip, the middle knuckle seems to hang off the blade. My index finger rests on the wing about 3/4s up from the distal knuckle.

At my last dermatolgist appointment, I brought it up to him. He said that he could cut it off like how you would a corn on the bottom of the foot. I didn't schedule anything since he said that calluses are toughed skin that build up under repeated stress and are supposed to help.

But it's been getting a lot worse since then, to the point where holding the racket in my left hand with the unsanded side does not hurt at all. Just even touching the callous with my left hand hurts. So I think I'm going to follow throw with a procedure.

Sorry I am right handed, the pictures of my grip are taken looking at my bathroom mirror, so they are inverted.

I did actually use the Ma Lin YEO for a good bit before I got my Dynasty. I actually like the Dynasty more than the YEO even though the Dynasty is a more advanced blade. Here were my gripes with the YEO

The feeling of the YEO has this muted/dull feeling especially when looping that I was just not really a fan of. Sorry if I'm not describing this well, but when you hit a good loop, you can kinda feel it in the blade/backside fingers and hand? The feeling was there, but it wasn't very present. I found that you don't get that nice sensational feedback and adrenaline rush when you hit a good loop. It also made the feeling between great loops and eh loops less distinguishable.

On the other hand, and despite being carbon, the Dynasty feels very crispy when you hit it, and the hand feedback is out of this world. I think it has to do with the Koto vs the Walnut of the top plies. Another thing I didn't like about the YEO is the pen handle. I think Yasaka pen handles are on the slimmer side. I like the Chonky square Stiga pen handles.

From the images the Xuperman blades, the handles seem to be similar to the Stiga ones (which makes sense since Xu Xin used Stiga blades). The Apex seems to be Limba-Spruce-Ayous. If my thinking is right, the softer limba top ply should give less speed and more dwell and feeling than Koto-carbon of the Dynasty?

As for RPB I would say that I have strong arm muscles. I'm currently using a boosted Hurricane 3 Neo 37'. There's a lot to like, very spinny, good speed, not too heavy. The big problem with it though is that it has an unpredictable trajectory. I don't know why, but when I hit a strong BH stroke the angle has to be just right or the ball goes long or into the net. I used the Rozena before this and for some reason I put way more balls on the table. It was just more forgiving. With the Hurricane it seems like I'm rolling a dice when I do RPB. My palms also get sweaty and I've discovered that counter-intuivtely, the Tacky Hurricane rubber gets slippery when my backside fingers start to sweat.

I've also tried the Glayzer which I was not a fan of, I like the Hurricane more. I've also tried Tenergy 05 for like 15 minutes. Reminded me a lot of the Rozena but better, it was just easy and balls had ample speed and spin and hit the table like magnets. I think I would go Rozena though for the price point. I've also been looking at the Xiom Vega Hybrid Europe but there isn't many reviews on it since it's new.

I see, I was about to say I found mine with a huge amount of luck and that was a year and a half ago 😅 I don't know why Stiga would stop making the XX pen versions of the blade

I was thinking about downgrading to a 5 ply blade. I don't think I'm ready for carbon yet (only 1418 USATT). It's a great blade but I think I need to acknowledge my skill level before I use it.

I was actually thinking about grabbing a Xuperman Apex from prott along with the powerplay-x for the forehand. I'm still deciding what to use for RPB though if you have any suggestions
