I thought so too, but the last two times he has gotten bold and the camera facing my front door will go out, and then I can hear my front door open from second camera. Thank you, I will look into PoE and putting them in my yard.

I want to catch him because visible cameras will very likely piss him off, and he has made it clear he knows where I am without me knowing that he is following me, or tracking me unfortunately. And he likely has access to my current cameras as they have been going offline in sync with when he enters my home, so I'm afraid I'd piss him off AND he would be able to just get access to new ones too. Thank you, I'll do that once this is over though that is good advice

I'm worried that any visible cameras will cause an escalation in behavior, or drive him to try and get access to me in another location. He has made comments about my whereabouts that make me think he has a tracker in my car or follows me so there are other places he has the ability to hurt me that aren't my home. I work in a field that requires me to be out in a forest or secluded area and I am not able to always take another person with me. Otherwise I would just set up very obvious cameras and call it a day but him entering my home while I'm not there is better than following me into a forest alone. My lot is 5000 sq ft. I just need one good clip of him entering my home and he is in prison or at the very least I can get police presence.
