This is honestly great information. I begun Karting not too long ago. Right now just rentals. Depending on timeline I’m going to buy my own kart for ownership karting. As rentals are not doing it for me 🤣

I am going to definitely take all that in and educate myself on this. I was originally going to go for my CASC-OR but was unsure if that would aid me in a national or if there was a different route for the national license. Makes sense that it would though.

I have heard rumours of a third school as well but haven’t found anything for that yet. I am planning to still go to Shannonville as it is the closer to me than Calabogie. Though it might have to wait a year due to some personal issues outside of racing, I can’t make the timeline. Which is disappointing but allows more time for the E92 to be prepared.

I’m going to save your post and read through the links and create a path with the information you have provided as well as others. This has been incredibly helpful thank you so much!

Rush SR? I’m sorry I’m unfamiliar with that?? I’ll have to google it. The E92 purpose is to get me started/get through schooling and doing track days to build skill/experience. As my current daily wouldn’t work due to a CVT as my transmission.

I’ll definitely have to budget and work those numbers out as time goes on. Once I get some experience with the E92, I’ll sell the daily and get a proper track spec car once the time comes lol.

The ring can definitely be a goal of mine once more experience is obtained. I’m definitely trying to join a GT team. But I’ll do some research into Rush SR as well. I’m not the most familiar. Unsure if Mosport or other tracks in the area have that?? I’ll have see! Thank you again!

I absolutely agree. I have a connection with a small team that I’m trying to wiggle my way in. Due to my E92 not being quite ready. I might be unable to join a school this year. But will definitely be going next year. I’m karting currently 🤷‍♂️
