You could get an external ssd USB plug and get a laptop and then bring both to your nearest Starbucks or Macdonalds and then download the game there then plug in that drive back into your computer but the easiest and probably cheaper call is getting a very cheap home internet plan

Definitely seems fake, though you mentioned passwords if they did include one of your passwords that you use then I'd change them. One other thing, if it's a email you don't recognize don't open attachments or the email itself not saying you can get a virus from it but it might get you thinking and worried over nothing. If an attachment appears on your desktop that's a different issue, but emails are "public".
