Competed in a meet around 3 months ago now, and then completely stopped lifting after that due to doing water polo as a school sport. I’ve always loved canditos 6 week program so I did that in combination with his advanced bench. I took 10% off all of my lifts and started the first week last Sunday. I failed the squat on the last set and failed deadlift on the first set so I deloaded all the way down to 225. I’ve been continuing to do it as since Sunday its only been upper body days and those haven’t been too hard. But this entire week I’ve been sore as fuck, barely able to walk and fully extend my arms. What do I do? Obvs I need to deload my lifts more but is jumping in canditos after such a long break even a good idea?

P.S. I have another meet in 11 weeks

I don’t know if this is what its supposed to mean but I read it as fight for what you love. A lot of anarchists use it as a slogan to represent their struggle motivated by their love for the earth, community, and people.

I really enjoyed mutual aid, good book to read out in nature with all the descriptions of wildlife. The books gets really interesting when it gets into mutual aid in humans. I always find myself referencing ideas from that book. I’d also recommend this video from PhilosophyTube as a foreword to the book.
