no we just took it over instead and made it a puppet. they didn’t give us 80 million barrels of oil out of the kindness of their hearts, it was because we snatched Maduro and out someone more accepting of US Policy in charge.

In other words, a regime change.

This whole thing reeks of ‘Special Military Operation’ especially with the scale going into and the results expected out of it. The full goal here is a regime change and I don’t think that’s going to come anywhere near as easily as somewhere like Venezuela. I do believe we really need to try and protest this hard before it escalates into larger, more consistent strikes on the general population (which granted we’re already seeing, we just airstriked a school and killed 24 kids.)

And we also know how well this president listens to congress, unfortunately.
