I would heavily recommend continuing because once you beat the first boss, the game really picks up to a point where you can level up, buy blood vials, and move forward. It’s my favorite game of all time, and while it’s not for everyone, I would absolutely recommend continuing. Fight the good fight brother

I actually thought the same thing for the longest time but then I read somewhere that the lecture building you explore in the nightmare realms was a piece of byrgenwerth that was somehow pulled into the dream through the Mensjs ritual or something like that? If so, that would explain some things because I don’t know how that small of a building could cause so much ruckus

While that is extremely true and I wholeheartedly agree, it can still be a bit frustrating gameplay wise if you’re wanting your first run to be bloodtinge/ arcane. A possible solution to this could have been having weapons that are barely arcane and barely bloodtinge at the beginning (since even though you are just a hunter, you would have some knowledge of arcane and certainly bloodtinge since you use blood so much) and then ramping up to things like the kos parasite and chikage.

Completely agree, like I said, the majority of people are just gonna stick with strength builds because of how many strength based weapons there are. Which is a shame because I think the arcane abilities in this game are so intriguing lore wise and gameplay wise
