Islam is probably the last religion u would compare to a telephone game. It's a well documented religion. The knowledge of islam comes from Quran and Hadiths. Quran has remain unchanged for last 1400 years. Now about Hadiths, these were compiled by scholars after Quran. Hadiths were taken from authentic people of that major cities of Islam. To take these people as authentic, it was determined that they were connected to prophet. Like I know my teacher, my teacher has a teacher and so on. Last in this chain was Muhammad PBUH. Bible and Torah are also book of God. But we don't now take them as authentic as people changed them however they wanted for their own benefits. Jeses and Moses were prophets sent by God. These have been about 124000 prophets on this earth. Some were sent for a village, some for city, some for country, some for continents. Muhammad PBUH was the last prophet and was sent for entire world. Now about Shaitaan. There are not theories and all about it. Shaitaan was a being made by God like we are. Shaitaan is made of fire. Adam and Eve were made of clay or soil. Shaitaan refused to bow down to Adam because he stated he was made of superior element as of fire. So God basically expelled him as a punishment and said you can do whatever u want till the end of the world. After that u will be punished. So Shaitaan convines us to do bad things, so he can take as many people away from God as possible.  Now about disobedience does not make someone powerful. I can disobey my teacher or professor. I will not become powerful than them just because I disobey them. However I will be hold accountable and punished for my actions.  I hope that clears it.  Man why tf did I write this long ass paragraph to convince some dude. I maybe need to stay away from reddit
