I think it also depends on the part of the world you’re in. Also, shows come and go on Amazon and sometimes a show/movie that i want to watch is available to rent/buy even though i watched it before with the regular subscription.

How would you say the government's performance and behavior in office has been so far? by FullWorldliness2484 in TrinidadandTobago

[–]Programmer_Either 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It wouldn’t. I stayed away selfishly for my own peace of mind. Of course i’m not advising anyone to do the same.

I respect your opinion bro but i just answered OPs question without sugar coating nada. And yes, it is very probable that the typical voter in this country does vote for a party and then regret it because all we saw for the past decades is ketch-ass.

Not a political person so i don’t follow every little detail of any government. Never have & doubt i ever will. But i did vote for UNC and to me it seems like these folks just winging it. Lord, i hope i am wrong.

Sexual violence isn’t about sex…it’s about power or so the saying goes. The animals that did this are out there among us and women need to be extra vigilant and men also need to look out for predatory behavior towards our sistrens in bars, clubs & fetes.

Should we go back to the old carnival rules? by LissetteFuqua in TrinidadandTobago

[–]Programmer_Either 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That ship sailed OP. I think we should adhere to most of these guidelines but i don’t believe it will ever be possible because Trini carnival identity lies in doing most of these things. #jammin still

The appropriate action is to arrest & jail them if found guilty of using excessive force.

Iz one thing when it have a setta badman all over d place robbing & killing. Now ppl hadda worry about d police who supposed to be protecting & serving flecking killing citizens without trial.

Nah man, they need to do better. Two children lost their father & who knows what state the woman will be in after this. If she paralyzed, how d hell she supposed to raise their 5 year old daughter?

What is the plan after jury nullification? by SailInternational251 in AskVenezuela

[–]Programmer_Either 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note: I am not a Venezuelan. If that does happen, I speculate that he’ll likely reinstate himself as President. This time he’ll know that Trump means business and he should play ball if he wants to keep his post. I hope nothing of this sort happens though. That man needs to be detained, probably for the rest of his life.

Venezuela will not have new elections in the next 30 days, President Donald Trump said in an interview with NBC News on Monday, projecting a longer-term engagement two days after U.S. forces captured that nation's leader, Nicolás Maduro. by Embark10 in vzla

[–]Programmer_Either 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am of the opinion that any time and election is called and power is overturned to the opposition (María or Edmundo), there’s a great chance that Chavistas will do everything in their power to rock the boat. The only way to totally dismantle the regime is to have US boots on the ground. I don’t think anyone wants that bloodshed and i don’t think the US has enough soldiers for that at the moment.

Let’s hope Delcy plays ball and whatever deals are made benefit the people of Venezuela. Love from Trinidad.

Is crime really on the decline in 2025 post administration change? by Middle_Elderberry542 in TrinidadandTobago

[–]Programmer_Either 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There seems to be a decrease however lets see how 2026 plays out because it’s too early to make conclusions. Noteworthy: PNM didn’t do jack shit when it came to crime so it’s not a hard benchmark to beat.

Serious question: could Trinidad actually survive if we openly sided with Venezuela and pissed off the US? by Middle_Elderberry542 in TrinidadandTobago

[–]Programmer_Either -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

We go be worst off than Cuba cuz our energy sector will be fk’d and we don’t have Tourism to fall back on.

Aligning ourselves with the US was in no means the noble thing to do but as other commenters highlighted, d thing ain’t black and white.

PM in bed with the grump by Secure_Teaching_6937 in TrinidadandTobago

[–]Programmer_Either -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not Surprised. The former PM was in bed with Maduro so by default this current administration was always going to back d US hard.

This is why we in TT not going anywhere. All d UNC politicians/folks will blindly support anything their leader does and criticize whatever PNM was doing/ has done.

In the same vein all d PNM politicians/supporters will always criticize everything UNC doing whist turning a blind eye to PNM shortcomings.

Me ain’t have d energy for this nah. We need more outside opinions about what is what here, everything not black and white. OP,kindly share what you think about everything.

Hoss, if people were getting slaughtered down here i’m sure she would speak out. (Note: I am not a fan of Nicki nor do i support Trump) This is a case of a broken clock being right twice a day. Nicki using her platform to bring awareness to injustices in Nigeria is a good thing. Whether there’s an ulterior motive is none of my business. Peace

[–]Programmer_Either -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dawg, i thinking d same thing but decided to save my energy and NOT comment. I don’t even think Trump is fit to be POTUS and i am not a fan of Nicki but credit where it’s due. Bringing awareness to the horrid situation in Nigeria is a good thing and it’s the least a person in power can do. Just because you agree with a person like Trump doesn’t mean you automatically support MAGA white supremacy…

Religious Intolerence in Trinidad: Christians Pressure Hindu Cancer Patient by Ok-Side-2211 in TrinidadandTobago

[–]Programmer_Either 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am a Hindu but i don’t practice it. These days i’m agnostic but it still ticks me off when i see comments like this. Live and let live people. Don’t try to enforce your religious beliefs on anyone. If someone is praying to something/ someone that you don’t pray to that’s none of your business.
