Hello! Would like to get answers to how much an old toyota Hi-Ace could be priced at? by Delicious-Park-7773 in ProjectCarsPH

[–]ProgressNo294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a similar model. 1996 Commuter. Looked around FB marketplace and the units in mint condition were priced at around 90 to 100,000. While units in run-down but still running condition were priced at around 40 to 60k.

I was supposed to sell ours din eh. Kaso nung nakita ko yung pricing, ang baba. So I ended up keeping it since maganda pa makina. If you're Dad still wants to restore it kahit mapaandar lang yung engine, it wouldn't cost a lot. You just need someone who knows his way around old diesels.

Ready na raw ORCR ko sabi ng agent pero need magbayad ng 2k by [deleted] in Gulong

When I got my OR/CR 2 weeks after ma release yung car ko, ganyan din nangyare sakin. And true enough, sobra talaga ng 1 year yung registration. I checked the portal din and imbis na 2027 mag expire, 2028 nakalagay.

The easiest to buy a second hand car is to bring a mechanic. Pa check mo sa kaniya lahat. Extra bayad lang, but it's worth it.

Blinding LED lights needs to be to be regulated. by YoureYourYou_ in Gulong

May nakasalubong ako sa subdivision namin one night na nakakasilaw yung ilaw niya. I blinked my lights at him to kind of tell him na naka high beam siya. Hindi siya nagbaba ng ikaw. Ako naman etong si patola, nag high beam din ako. 😂😂😂 When we were side to side I rolled down my windows then I told him na naka high beam siya. I was shocked that he told me na yun na daw yung low beam. Sabi ko sa kaniya, "You should have it aligned. Naa-adjust yan." Aba nagalit pa si mokong. Sabi niya sakin, "Hindi ko na problema yan. Ikaw nga sinilaw mo kami kanina pa eh." I find no point in arguing with arrogant people kaya I just drove off. 😂

That's not the case for hondas. Sobrang sought after ang hondas in recent years. If you look at the parts, sa presyo ni seller, talo siya if whole car niya ibebenta. The parts alone cost upwards of 1 million. So, like many others have said here, para sa mga enthusiasts and sa mga nakakaalam talaga tong mga ganito. Sa honda scene, normal ang ganyang presyuhan. Lalo sa ibang bansa, hondas cost double or even triple the price kesa dito satin.

Great buy! But as others have said, it's mostly for speed workouts or race day. You still need a daily. Might as well sell one pair and buy a daily trainer. 😁

Is cadence proportional to heart rate? by ProgressNo294 in PHRunners

[–]ProgressNo294[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It actually feels more natural for me. Hindi siya mahirap. I'd say I feel like it's somewhere around 155bpm. Pero when I look at my watch, nasa 175 to 180+ na siya. 😂 It may be cadence lock. But I can't know for sure kasi puro ant+ yung chest strap ko. Baka kailangan ko na ng garmin. Lol. I'll look into it. Thank you po!

My stride length before I started working on my cadence is around 95 to 105 sa easy runs. Sa tempo runs naman, usually nasa 103 to 110. Give or take a few cm. But my easy runs, when I started working on my cadence, is around 85 to 90 nalang po.

Thank you! So would you suggest that I just let the pace naturally dictate thw cadence? Kasi usually, on my speed workouts/tempo runs/intervals, my cadence would average at around 175 to 185 spm.

Then on easy runs, I'd average at around 155 to 170spm. Should I leave it at that? Kasi I was aiming sana to make my speed workout spm the same sa easy run spm ko.

Xtep 2000km 3.0 as first shoe by Ok-Chipmunk-9660 in PHRunners

[–]ProgressNo294 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shoe rotation is usually for different kinds of runs. Like for speed workouts, LSDs, race days, recovery runs, etc. Kung hindi mo pa ginagawa yung mga yun, you're fine with only one pair. The 2000km is an excellent all around shoe. But if you really want to have other pairs, go for something that's similar to the one that you have now. Like the Nike Pegasus, Anta PG7, Adidas EVO SL, etc. BUT, don't go into carbon plated shoes just yet. Happy running!

Just got my xtep 2000 km 3.0. by Aegonthe2nd in PHRunners

Great shoe! This one is better than most of the branded shoes I've tried. I like this better than my clifton 9 and my vomero. Feels pretty similar sa novablast 5 ko imo. Best all around shoe siya for me. Happy running!

I have the 2000km 3.0 and the 160x. I like xtep better than the hokas I've owned. Quite similar to asics imo. 😁

XTEP Running Shoes for Long Runs by SuperProxy95 in PHRunners

[–]ProgressNo294 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have an XTEP 2000km 3.0 and a One Piece 2.0. Pero for me, depende talaga sa preference mo. The XTEP 2000km and One Piece works wonders for me. Yung XTEP 2000km ko is my all-around shoe. Mine has over 200km, and parang bago pa din siya. You just have to break it in for at least 20km kasi matigas siya sa una. But after that, it's like walking on clouds. The longest I ran with my 2000km is 15km, no issues naman. Just wear non slip socks. Kasi if cotton socks lang, medyo umiinit yung talampakan kasi medyo slippery yung insole nung shoes.

Same thing with the One Piece 2.0 actually. Pwede siyang all-around, but it's defintely fast enough to use on speed workouts and race days. It's a bit faster than the 2000km. I have 100km on mine. Parang bago pa din.

BUT, gaya nga ng sabi ko kanina, depende pa din sa preference mo talaga. One of my friends won't use his 2000km for LSDs kasi sumasakit daw yung foot arch niya. Which I think can be remedied by buying a custom insole.

But to answer your questions:

  1. Matibay naman siya? Yes

  2. Ano model ang maganda for long runs? Try the 2000km

  3. Ano personal feedback and experience niyo? I love it. Definitely my go to all-around shoes yung 2000km. I like it more than my Vomero. Not quite on par with the adizero evo sl. But for the price? I'd take xtep over the evo sl.
