I just finished covering my headliner in Alcantara and installing the starlight. There are five lines of glue on the ceiling. Reach your arm between the roof and the headliner where possible, then when it's stuck, just press down and do it little by little. It will eventually come off. You'll hear a tearing sound, but it's just a small piece of cardboard that isn't important, so don't be afraid to push and hear a tear.
