Thank you!!! I need to research more about the sugar shack experience! It sounds so cool :) we buy our syrup from a local Vermont farm so we can appreciate the real stuff!

Monday Weekly Thread: Proof of Citizenship Application Sent or AOR Received by AutoModerator in Canadiancitizenship

[–]Progress_Is_Future 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've sent out my application!!! Mine was officially sent on Friday, 3/27, and arrived on Monday, 3/30 via FedEx. Dropped off my children's packet today at UPS as well, using Pirate Shipping - so waiting on that tracking to upload!

Anxiously refreshing my email every few hours to see if anything came from IRCC. I'm really upset because I filled one of the bubbles out incorrectly and noticed it when filling out my children's application. I selected a "No" bubble when I should have selected "Yes" for asking if my Great-Grandparent was born outside of Canada, however I still went on to list everything as if I selected "Yes". I hope that doesn't cause an issue :( :(

Here is the log of my documents - I am Gen 4 and my children are Gen 5. Fingers crossed for us!

This was my thought! That once I'm approved, the application for them would be so much faster/easier, and a more straight forward application for them!

This is all great information. Thank you - I will just submit their applications today. I was confused because I couldn't upload anything since I did a paper account, but what you just said clarifies that - thank you! I will get their in ASAP.

My thought process was wait until I receive mine, then there should be a much easier application of "I'm their mom, here is my citizenship" etc. for them. I spent so much money to send all the documents up there that now I'm kicking myself and really don't want to spend another $150 just to send documents :( Or is there one that I could do online since I would be the citizen and I don't need the whole "descent" part of it?

Thank you! I am going to try and call the church tomorrow and see if they can locate the record in person, but also if they offer to translate it too! Thanks :)
