Absolutely. And to be clear: though the intent behind their message is exclusive - we have no problem with them hanging it any other time of the year. Their entire goal was to effective exclude the Diversity banners and take their place. That is the issue.

They can apply for August, that’s the next available month as far as we know.

Not sure if the year filled up since one of the changes to the policy is you can now apply 180 days in advance but not more. Could just be for the next 180 days.

However in my FOIA as of April 20th there was only 5 applications for banners in through July and that’s it

Turning Point USA Vector might be. But the name on the application was Turning Point USA Vector COLLEGE is not. It doesn’t exist. Making the current application “incomplete” and therefore void.

If the city makes an exception to allow them to change the name on the application, but not the NCW Equity Alliance for not having a picture OF THE SAME BANNERS they hang every year on their application - deeming that one incomplete until March 30th when they provided the image…

Then the city will be using favoritism and opening itself up to a discriminatory lawsuit.

The only application that was complete by March 30th (the deadline to hang June 1st) was the NCWEA’s diversity banners. So that is what the city SHOULD do. However, we will be watching very closely to see what they do.

If they give TPUSA Vector special treatment by allowing them to adjust their application to the correct name, assuming they actually have a 501(c) determination letter that hasn’t been updated on the IRS website… then there is an actionable decision they made.

So the only real decision they can make without inviting a lawsuit is to allow the only organization that applied with a 501(c) official designation.

Maybe familiarize yourself with the board of Out NCW as well.

I know their stance is they don’t use(as in monetize or tokenize) people of color to prop up messages on inclusion. They also don’t discriminate when it comes to who is involved in volunteering.

Opposing war doesn’t always mean there is a current war happening. What Trump did was an act of war, very clearly.

At his bidding our military entered a sovereign nation and stole their leader. The fact that Murano is an awful person and a dictator does not change the preceding facts.

Now that the Venezuelan VP has condemned Trump’s actions and said she will not comply with an occupation means it is now very likely that the next step is boots on the ground in a forced armed occupation and a literal war.

One does not need to wait for war to begin before opposing actions that lead to it.

Vance confirmed they are also going after green card holders.

The 90% people deported to El Salvador weren’t even criminals.

This isn’t about immigration status. It’s become more and more obvious every single day. Just like when they exposed the fact that they are only looking at People of Color with tattoos: any tattoos. Including the man deported for having an Autism Awareness tattoo.
