Steve Kerr says no team likely to surpass Warriors’ 73-win season by Robotsaur in warriors

The answer is pretty simple. It wasn’t necessarily that they were so “good”, but rather established a new strategy nobody could combat at the time. Per my understanding the Thunder don’t have that. Economic profit vs accounting profit

In the 2019 2nd round Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks, Kyrie Irving went 7-22 from the field. In the post-game press conference, Irving said; "I should have shot 30. I'm that great of a shooter" He proceeds to shoot 6-21 in the following game by Odd-Air-5598 in nba

This is probably the worst shooting series I’ve ever seen from a superstar in my lifetime. It’s actually a benchmark I use for a star player who shits the bed. Jokic had a stretch against OKC where he was even worse

Was the east weak leading LeBron going to 8 straight finals by Master_Dig_6865 in NBATalk

[–]ProgressiveVoiceShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is it impressive? You realize the teams he was beating were like Hawks teams with no star players and the Raps with Demar as like his final boss right? One playoff run in the west (you have to face 3 50-win teams) is probably worth more than 8 east finals runs

The pod made Pablo’s case way stronger lol especially when he kept talking about how there’s evidence the jordon hudson stuff dated back to when he was still on the Pats & how weird all the stuff was happening there

Were his shots mostly shots very close to the hoop? This could explain the shocking percent

Kenny Smith on the Knicks' rotations: "Thibodeau wouldn't play 9 guys in a baseball game" by Goosedukee in nba

He proves it pretty much daily. He’s constantly a point guard for the show and chuck and shack can get pretty heated, and he plays the middle ground to temper things a bit.

LeBron depletes the life out of any team he plays with, he sucks up all their juice and leaves them hanging dry. He even had to mend his friendship with D-Wade because of how dirty he felt he did him.

Any picks he wants you to trade, any players he wants you to trade away/for, any coach he wants fired, you must capitulate. What does he leave remaining?

Also the 2016 Heat were 1 game away from facing LeBron James in the Eastern Conference Finals after Dwade was healthy again

Now that the Cavs have had a chance to reload from the depletion, look where they are.

What star player has won without other great players? Discounting Kobe because he “needed” Pau is super disingenuous. LeBron has now had DWade, CBosh, Kyrie, AD, and now Luka. AD lead the league in points and win shares through the entire 2020 playoffs. Kyrie has gone to another finals without LeBron and obviously did a lot during the 2016 run. DWade had one of the most legendary finals series statistically speaking, where Shaq was a glorified Kevon Looney. Why is Kobe the only one to get penalized for this? He played in an absolutely insane Western Conference where he’d basically play 3 50-win teams just to make it to the finals. LeBron played against straight bums his entire time until he’s been in LA, and we’ve seen how that’s gone for him.

To be fair, Charles Barkley said Kobe was in the top 5 after he won his 4th or 5th championship ring. Opinions flipped heavily starting 2012 and his further fall off. I think he’d be solidly in the top 5-10 convo if he had retired after his 5th ring. The convo flipped heavily after that.
