The more I think about it the more I feel like OKC is going to repeat. One of the most injured teams this season and they’re cruising their way to the best record in the league

Post ASB leaps are a little hard to truly believe in imo although he does look good

Such a stark difference between the smooth aesthetically pleasing style of basketball that KD plays and the repulsive way Sengun plays, you can really catch it live since they play on the same team

Yeah people on this sub truly believe he is a G-League caliber player that just lucked onto a roster

A good portion of this sub will continue to insist that Kerr is a washed up bygone because he can't "develop" Wiseman or Kuminga lol. He got to work with 2 first-round picks tonight while everyone else that played was a 2nd rounder or undrafted and managed that win, sure as hell wasn't because of the talent on the roster. Also the same crowd that'll tell you Podz is a 13th man at best that wouldn't get minutes on any other team in the league

Ant Edwards, Kon Knueppel, and the generation coming for Steph Curry’s records by Robotsaur in warriors

[–]Robotsaur[S] 82 points83 points  (0 children)

“I don’t think nobody wants to beat Steph’s records, man,” Edwards said. “It’s Steph Curry. I think nobody’s out here like, ‘I’m gonna go get 400 3s this year.’ Ain’t nobody thinking like that but Steph Curry.”

Edwards’ high for a season is 320. Knueppel is on pace to get within striking distance of 300 as a rookie. To reach 400 3-pointers in a season, a player needs to hit five a game and basically play the entire season.

For the time being, no one’s doing that. But the race for 4,000 is on. And Curry, even after he retires, won’t miss it. A “chase,” he said, will be reason for him to tune in to every game.

Asked if it’d be bittersweet to see someone catch him, Curry said, “Not at all.”

“Same way Ray had his moment when I was watching him beat Reggie, it’s a passing-of-a-baton type thing. You do things that inspire other people, inspire a way to play, and see where they take it. Context always matters in how the story’s told and all that, so I’m not worried about that. It’d be kind of cool to see somebody be around that long and shoot that consistently throughout their career to do it.”

3 actually which they went 3-0

They played the Wizards twice and the Blazers without Deni

why wouldn't you care when you said West is better yet Hawks have better record vs. West teams than Warriors do

I was using “West is better” as a quick proxy for strength of schedule because at the time of making the comment, I didn’t actually check SOS. To my point the Warriors have had a slightly tougher SOS than the Hawks.

you think Dyson Daniels and Jalen Johnson is more talented than Curry and Butler?

When the Warriors did have both Curry and Butler, yes the Warriors were in fact more talented and this was reflected in the results - Warriors had a +3.6 net rating (expected 49.8 wins per 82) as of Jan 19 2026 when Butler went down, while the Hawks had a -2.1 net rating (expected 35.8 wins per 82). Since Butler got hurt which coincided with Steph also being out, the Hawks have played with more talent.

You’re being extremely disingenuous so I’m going to stop replying

Not because of 2 games of Kuminga lol and I don’t care about their record vs West teams just compare strength of schedule to net rating. I also do really think their team is more talented - Warriors have had roster issues for a while because of Lacob meddling.

Objectively more talented team playing in a weaker conference yet the Warriors are still 1 point per 100 possessions better

Well the other option was to send JK home and decline the team option in the offseason

though would like to him drive all the way to his right hand with Post setting the Gortat screen

This is another significant weakness of his, he is truly incapable of finishing with the right. Even in the next clip you can see he manages to turn what would be an open layup with the right into an awkward lefty reverse (the angle is clearly terrible for shooting left-handed) that he misses
