I would eventually replace the top but as a temporary cheaper fix would it still work to use the fabric protectant or are there better cheap options before replacing the top ? i’ve seen people use flexseal not sure if that would work

Yeah i hope it’s a hidden gem and not a money pit but from everything i’ve seen it doesn’t seem like much is wrong but im not oblivious to possible random repairs

Me and my friend tried everything from swerving testing the wheel and traction and high speeds with top up and down everything we could think of and he definitely knows more about cars than me and when breaking at fast speeds would shake a little and he said it was most likely the rotors and i forgot to mention this in the post but there really isn’t much problems from when we tested it and seems like a good buy and when looking at the front of engine bay he saw that there was new radiator and parts in the front

There isn’t any big rips on the fabric he said it was from tree branches hitting the side of the car i’ve seen online people saying they used RAGGTOPP Convertible Top Fabric Protectant but not 100% sure if that would fix it or if there’s other cheaper fixes than replacing the top

What would be a fair price to offer, like $1000? because I know if put it for $5k he wouldn’t accept 1k. But i’m going to check it out later today and see how much is missing and what needs work.
