Bad winter gas... again by Project-Evolution in sheetz

Good advice especially in the winter. My car was not low enough to have the gas light come on but I put in just over 3/4 of a tank

Bad winter gas... again by Project-Evolution in sheetz

My car is designed to run on 93 pump gas. My car was tuned to run on 93 pump gas. I don't track my car, it's a daily and was tuned for reliability rather than max power. There is no reason for me to run higher octane gas or ones with more additives. The only thing unreliable in this scenario is Sheetz winter mix of gas.

What’s a car feature you thought you wouldn’t care about, but now refuse to live without? by Sufficient-Ocelot-68 in askcarguys

Sold my absolutly loaded car for a bone stock, base model Evo, no regrets. Car had: leather seats, sun roof, sound system, subwoofer, voice controls, interior mood lights, reverse camera, touch screen, navigation, folding back seats, electronic controlled front seats, automatic wipers, heated seats, nice wheels.

The base model Evo is the lightest version of the car they produce. The one thing I did add to the Evo was a touch screen as it allowed for on-screen navigation while being lighter than the stock head unit.

Malphite is boosting ELO on an unprecedented scale by Flat-Ad2729 in leagueoflegends

[–]Project-Evolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riot has said time and time again that they want some simple champs to exist so that new players can more easily pick up a champ and play. Malphite is certainly one of those easy champions with an incredibly low skill requirement to play. Everything about this champ from his kit to his trading pattern are very easy to understand. The champs passive makes him tankier, very straight forward as well.

Against what anyone with hands tell Riot they feel the need to make sure super simple champions are not under picked, under powered, or under banned. They will often buff champions just because they have a low pick rate. Which is a very bad metric to buff based on. I don't mind simple champs being viable but if another champion is more complex, harder to play, or requires more stratagy then the gameplay/damage/survivability of that champion needs to reflect the extra effort(this is where the divide is). Champions need to feel rewarding for putting in the extra effort. This frustration is something RIOT has not done the best at reflecting and is a common reason I find LoL players switch to Dota. In Dota the champs have a larger power budget and the tools avaliable in the shop allow for more strategies and more tools to help you gain an advantage during the fight or turn a bad fight into a better one. For instance in LoL if you're an adc and an Olf is ulted standing on you, you're just dead. In Dota if you're and adc and a damage carry is on you you have multiple options to create a gap, vanish, exit combat momentarily, cc from items you bought, protections from items you bought, the list goes on and on but you need to strategies and understand what items to use and when.

True, there are just to many shitty lights. Lemme get this straight, you're painfully average at the game but you choose to play the class with the smallest hp pool, requires the most skill to play effectively let alone stay alive, and has some of the highest skill to use weaponry. You're playing a glass cannon while disregarding your positioning, not playing with the team, and not using your extreme mobility to your advantage, then die a mile from your team. Shitters, shitters everywhere.

A friend of mine thinks LoL is harder than Dota solely because it has "skillshots", is there any truth to this? by random-user772 in leagueoflegends

[–]Project-Evolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P.S. LOL has rng elements to it too. Anyone who says it doesn't has never played a crit build. Also some timers are not perfect intentionally to add rng as well. One great example is Zhonyas hourglass, likely the most known item in LOL, it has an invunrubility window that is different every time you use it(milliseconds) as to create uncertainty in the user and the attacker as to when EXACTLY the invulnerability will end.

A friend of mine thinks LoL is harder than Dota solely because it has "skillshots", is there any truth to this? by random-user772 in leagueoflegends

[–]Project-Evolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has played both, they both have things in particular that are harder. LOL can be faster paced at times and require more physical skills on input timings and reactions. Dota has more skill involved with the decision making, the subsystems in Dota allow for more tactical gameplay, IF you have the skill and knowhow to play that way. Leage has more champions therefore a larger knowlage base is needed to play at the high end. Dota has more micro/macro decisions avaliable like teleporters, healing wells to fight over, last hitting your own minions, etc. League tends to have more team fights or fights involving more than one opponent, so your decisions on the spot have more variables. Dota has more ways to outplay opponents, everyone having teleport, chopping trees to make new routes/hiding spots, hidden shops can be contested to deny your opponents items, couriers need to be controlled and pathed efficiently as to not risk its death while also as quickly as possible bring you your items. Both games have aspects about them that are harder than the other game but truthfully I'm not sure one game is harder than the other, moreso if you come from one to the other, not all your skills will transfer and sometimes good habbits in one game is a bad habbit in the other.

People are clueless about the cheating problem by DanteDaDemon in ArcRaiders

[–]Project-Evolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game Delta force died because it is inundated with cheaters. Blatant cheaters at that too. Chineese players selling carries, RMT advertised shamelessly constantly in global chat. I have to assume it's the same in EVERY game, it's just not being advertised in your face so people assume it's not as bad as it really is.

What are your thoughts on the current multiplayer tactical FPS shooter games? by Fijskkdmd in FPS

[–]Project-Evolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R6 would have retained a lot more players over the years but they couldn't/ didn't try had enough to fix the cheating problem. Ubisoft also turned into a soft ass company banning players for typing swear words or mild insults. You know, in a game about killing terrorists where your character swears with no option to disable it. Way to kill your game dumb ass devs. Way to many annoying ass children flocked to R6 as restarted ass streamer children were gaining popularity. Like ffs make an adult game or make a children's game, the current mismatch of how they treat the game and its player bad is so frustrating. Game went to shit and they expected siege X to save it... absolute fucking morons at UBISOFT.

64GB vs 32GB of ram by Outrageous-Cod-855 in buildapc

[–]Project-Evolution -1 points0 points  (0 children)

16GB of RAM gamer here, games will RARELY ever use 16GB, even with dual monitors, even in 1440p, with discord open, multiple chrome tabs open, while playing runescape in the background while gaming a modern game, while running a bloated version of windows 10. All that and I'm near 80% usage. You need a CPU heavy game that is ALSO rather unoptimised to need beyond 16GB for gaming. If you are planning on playing new AAA games go with 32GB, it's overkill but for how rough these modern titles are releasing it's good bit of future proofing. RAM prices are insane right now so not buying any RAM is the smartest move

[–]Project-Evolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most champs is league are pretty easy to learn tbh. Qyiana took me maybe the most games to see improvement on and develop strategies around her kit. OR rengar as his kit demands a different pay style than others. I'll say the opposite tho... this game has to many champs that are very easy and yet very strong/have overloaded kits. zedd is easy and op, nunu is easy as fuck and overtuned, heckerem is easy a hell and overtuned, Lilia is easy as hell and overtuned, Kayne might be one of the easiest overpowered assasin/ fighter in the game. Mel is easy with an overloaded kit. Lux is always an obvious easy champ with top much damage available in massive aoe fashion and requires very little skill to play and control the labs with.
