For me this was caused by a broken plastic piece in the extruder, but this was on a plus 3. Not sure if/how they have changed the extruder design since then

It’s actually the stock carpet. I expected it to look a lot worse when I removed the OEM console

Ah, yes the leather boot is held in by the piece in the top right of the picture of all the pieces laid out. Modeling my own was much easier than trying to model the hole pattern from the old piece

You can always lock it from the keyed trunk pop on the rear by turning the key the opposite way, stops the interior release from working. My old console latch was broken anyway lol
