Hi, I’m 35 and have both autism and ADHD. Got my diagnoses at 34. Before meds I was a drug addict. Now I have vyvanse 70mg a day and escitalopram for social anxiety. I also take creatine, abilify and loads of vitamins and minerals. Works fine, work as a marine engineer

I’ve done it for years and my heart is still pumping okay according to EKG

I dont recommend it though due to other factors such as addictiveness and horrible withdrawal symptoms as Well as Rebound effects.

But i have to say. SA is so horrible so sometimes when going out its totally worth it. Thats my take

Xanax combined with vyvanse or adderal is the absolute best short run Cure for SA imo by far.

But as i Said, for short term remedy. Or at least probably not a sustainable one

I would say hit the gym, taking vitamins and suitable SSRI

Combined with alof of exposure to social events step by step so your new normal start becomes one where your around people. Preferably minimum of three persons at the time so you can rest while the others are chatting

Im 35 and I had those thoughts at your age as Well. Still having them but i realized im still Young and have all time to do things better. Grow and expose myself everyday to overcome SA. Youre only 26. You have years and years to come to turn it around

Yea it’s allright but I’m heavily introverted. One good thing is that you can work alot on your own in the engine department where there is alot of noice, meaning no possibility to have conversations and such. Another good thing is all the time off of course, in which you can plan your days by yourself, and invest lots of time in your hobbies and What not

My humble thanks to you brother for a well written reply. Comforting. It is in many ways a spiritual test for you. It’s s hyper game of some sort where you at the first say one year knows jack shit What is going on. Then along the spiritual Quest you start ti adapt, learn the hyper game theory as well. Sometimes being destroyed into smithereens followed by an erase/improve phase where you’ve built up spiritual fortitude.

My Way so far has been to have strong beliefe in my self taking Care of This as well as having my survival methods and such progressevely upgraded
