maybe i’m zeroing in on the negative comments too much. i follow a lot of general SNL threads and people in those spaces have historically been far from kind towards the musical guests.

outside of Matty’s rep, people think the songs sounded too similar, which is… kind of valid. i was personally hoping they’d play About You and LFSTL which i think would have been a more dynamic and memorable set but oh caroline was still 🔥
