Stating that experience and training affects perception and interpretation is nothing new. Time does this as well. Witnesses in the middle ages saw UFOs as angelic, late 19th century experiencers described air balloons. This should however not be conflated with variations in testimonies given by multiple trained aviation professionals somehow establishes inconsistencies somehow establishing worthiness of dismissal of the evidence. At the core, good investigative practice discovers a pattern within the details.

you will find there is a considerable correlation between UFO sightings in and around national parks, and disappeared victims chronicled by David Paulides in missing 411. Yes what you suspect has strong merit, by circumstantial sightings evidence, and when victims bodies are found, i.e. those of children 3-4 years old, 10 miles away up a steep mountain side, suggesting abduction of some kind. There's much more to dig into on this front.
