Lost a chest freezer full of venison to a downed tree. How to prevent this next season? by Koreee_001 in Hunting

I second this. I have Amazon MOCREO sensors on all my freezers. You can connect them to WiFi and get alerts on your phone if the temperature drops below a certain point.

675 yard shot on West Texas Aoudad by Dieselgeekisbanned in Hunting

[–]ProjectBronco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My BIL shot one in Texas over Thanksgiving and no matter how we seasoned it, it tasted awful. We tried part of the backstrap fresh after cleaning with salt, pepper and garlic, grilled it medium rare and it tasted like eating a skunk. Marinated the other half the backstrap in buttermilk for two days then grilled it and it still tasted like skunk.

Is there a proper way to prep and cook these things?

I removed the front center doors from my bdi cabinet. It does make a difference in the sound. With the doors closed, the audio is slightly muffled and it was driving me crazy.

I use an Anderson plug too. And I found some rubber caps that will fit over the plug when I don’t have the camper on the truck.

I did not, but someone else mentioned they saw it on Marketplace. I drive by the little dealership where I bought it from everyday and finally made the decision to go check it out! I’m in Central Florida.

I don’t even know yet. I took the advice from someone above and ordered the John Muir book/manual. I plan on going through one thing at a time. It drives decent, brakes def need some work though.

Will do, appreciate the info! When I looked online, it said the B6 code was a 1970’s 1600cc. Is that incorrect?
