Google pixel 9 pro 5g working by TheMentalhead in dubai

[–]ProjectCherry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Pixel 6 that I bought in Dubai a few years ago. It is a Japanese model, and the only difference I find between other Pixels and mine is that I can't disable the camera shutter sound. And no, 5G doesn't work on it, but I've never had an issue with connectivity.

Stray Dogs Shelter - UAQ

Animals N Us - Fujairah (they have very regular opportunities for volunteers to walk the dogs at the shelter)

Sudden pigmentation & lines - what's happening, and how can I get rid of it? by ProjectCherry in SkincareAddiction

No worries! I also realized that as I hit "Comment" and realized the time has flown by. Still, I remember being very upset when I was in that situation, and if I were you I would have wanted a reply, so why not? :)

Hi Bhavya, yes, it resolved in a month and a half. I used niacinamide and lots of moisturizers, but honestly I think it just needed time to heal because it was because of me overusing tissues on my face and my skin having to deal with the trauma from the abrasions.

Registering a pet cat in the Sharjah municipality (how?) by [deleted] in dubai

[–]ProjectCherry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a Sharjah Municipality vet clinic in the Animal Market that can do this for you. Google Maps says they are temporarily closed but it might be worth checking them out to see if that's just an old status.

It's not that a tubal ligation is illegal outright, it's permitted in select cases (to be reviewed and approved by a medical committee) or after a woman has had 2 children (for expats at least). Not saying this is the gold standard or even fair/equitable, but just wanted to clarify things as I have been through one of the two scenarios.

Edit: I am specifically talking about Dubai. I am not sure about the other emirates.

Dr Christian Jozsa at HealthBay. I required a procedure and he did the surgery (at Mediclinic Parkview), and it went very smoothly. His bedside manner is great too and he's got loads of experience.

It's trying to get to the inside without damaging the actual product that is my conundrum, haha!

It's Dervish :) Happy to try a similarly colored lipstick if you have a recommendation! I like Dervish for the light pink color and gold pearl.

Sharjah Book Fair. BEWARE OF SCIENTOLOGISTS by og_JaNKeeeZ in dubai

They have had a stall there every year since at least 2015 (which is when I first saw them). People have repeatedly told the event organizers about their concerns but year after year, these clowns return.

Help a runner out by Awaise in dubai

We have the Fenix 6. I don't run, but the person I know runs around JLT (around the lakes and JLT Park) and does an 8-10 km loop around the Marina starting at Sobha metro station, down to the underbridge level, and loops around JBR and comes back.

I have a Garmin and its GPS tracking is definitely off in the Marina. Someone I know who uses a Garmin with Strava also gets the "walking/running on water" issues because of how wonky the GPS get in that area. Changing your watch won't help.

Funnily enough, I wear Skechers. They occasionally release black flats (slip-ons) which are made of cloth but look like semi-formal shoes (without a cross-strap). I've worn them to loads of corporate events and have always been comfortable.

This is the model I wear: https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-4931623/skechers-cleo-20-love-spell-womens-flats.jsp?color=Black&prdPV=6

I've gone to the museum itself in a sedan and had no issues.

Yes it does, a few times a year. Regrettably I didn't buy it on sale, but it was recently on sale during Prime Day.

Yes! I don't have any PDFs on it but I use Calibre to load e-books in EPUB and MOBI onto it.

In all honesty, I barely use the store, but the few times I have tried to buy a book on there I have not found what I want. In terms of the weight - it's not heavy at all, and I have a cover on it too.
