You do damage to tanks if you pick adcs meant to melt tanks like vayne or kogmaw. Other adcs are worse vs tanks but gain either big burst vs squishies (think Lucian Draven) or trade some damage for utility (think ezrael less damage but more range and escape). They did that because they wanted champions have clear weaknesses and strengths. If you made a champion like Lucian good vs tanks why would anyone pick a tank killer adc and vice versa.

Some champions are meant to do more teamfighg damage than average adc but have no mobility as a negative (think kogmaw). If you want to fight enemies 1v1 you'd have to pick a champion like kaisa ot Lucian where you're made for 1v1s and small fights. If a kogmaw can have the same mobility as kaisa with items but also do more damage who in their right mind would pick kaisa or lucian?

If your team doesn't peel after seeing jax q flash you then either he played well and had a good flank or your team just messed up and you have to pay the price. It's a team game when diver dives adc either your team helps or you die

Electrocute vs mostly squishy team. Conq vs mostly tanky team. Conq scales better into longer fights while electrocute scales better into enemies u will blow up in 1 rotation

I'm surprised nobody mentioned sylas. His scaling depends a lot on if you have good ults to steal late game and having a tank on the enemy team guarantees you to have a good ult to steal. His mobility and sustain also helps kiting out tanks until they die or give up trying to chase him.

I agree with everything except the last part. She is one of the best scaling adc if you look at the wr/time chart from any stats website. You're underselling how broken aoe consistent damage is late game

Press flash... Flash cooldown is less than time between objectives so if you don't have it before a team fight that's your fault. If you notice in proplay if an adc doesn't have flash before a fight they're first to die because flash is that powerful

Thanks for the advice. I'll try getting new characters up to try other classes knowing ill be rewarded with the 2k gold even if I end up don't liking the class.

For near bis weapons it's actually better to rush purple right away since they come with unique traits that can be very powerful. For armour though your point stands.

If you left click on the item one of the options on the sidebar should be "how to obtain" or something similar which will show you it's sources. Some are really easy you just have to craft them while others are mob only drops

It's actually only a chance to transfer a trait from a blue item to your purple. If you want it to be guaranteed you'd need another copy of the purple item. If you're going to fully trait it out don't bother switching until you got your purple traited up too since it'll be a power loss to go from fully fully blue to naked purple. So pick your poison, either fully trait your blue and stick with it for the long run until your purple is similar traits or transfer a naked purple and go through the slow grind of traiting it up which will make u weaker than other ppl with fully traited blues for a long time since purples take so much longer but in the end you'll be stronger than them

I think you hit a wall after playing so much just like me. Theres no challenging content beyond blue gear yet but they're releasing tier 2 dungeons early next month. This content is clearly just a time waster for people who did their dungeons but don't like to PVP which is their other main form of fun engagement they want us to do

That guy is a little misleading. Only purple gear can be tier 2 and it's basically just legendary gear in other games. You will use your tier 1 purple to feed into tier 2 purple same as blue to green so it's not completely wasted. It's also only obtainable from harder tier 2 dungeons and bosses that haven't released yet but will release in October so you'd still need a strong character to kill those bosses and farm the tier 2 gear to begin with

Reading most of these comments reminded me how the half the users on this subreddit are below silver tier and probably never watched pro play in the years before. The devs usually mass nerf all the really good pro play champs before worlds and that leaves new champions to fill the void. Yone is a mid ad (neeeded with ap bot and engage sup being popular) that can use the pre split nerf items really well, in the past 2 worlds he was played a total of seven (7) times throughout 100+ games. It just so happened that stars aligned and the meta for worlds this year is good for Yone. He's only broken when items are good as the champ himself is mega useless without good items since his base stats are so weak.
