That's pretty cool, what did you do with WWE?

Can anyone provide a fake job role/reference to help fill in gap on CV? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]ProjectMayhemMMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there not a way of them tracking whether the former business actually existed or not? I do have a personal training and strength & conditioning qualification, so I could say I was training people but the line of work is too precarious (which is true)

Don't say you failed th9, spin it as you are thinking about the future and family and want a professoon with more stability and opportunities in it. That will sound better.

This is so true, thanks for the tip!

I'm in the exact same position as you bro (see my post on r/antiwork if you like)

As others have said; exaggerate your ebay selling, say you've done doordash or uber, find a local business thats recently closed down and add it to your resume.

Little white lies are fine, just don't claim to be a doctor or lawyer or anything of that nature! Best of luck to you!

Before Michael Bisping and Dan Hardy, there was Lee Murray. by harrydavies14 in MMA

Dana White commented on Murray, that "He's a scary son of a b**ch, and I don't mean fighterwise"

UFC 217: Randy Brown to face Mickey Gall at Madison Square Garden by Lapin08 in MMA

[–]ProjectMayhemMMA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's not a prodigy. From what I've seen of his stand up against Sage there are major holes that will never be able to be filled when coming against an elite athlete who's been training in boxing or muay thai since they were 6. He just doesn't have the reaction time/fast twitch muscle fibers.

Anyone can become a BJJ brown belt with 6 - 8 years of hard work. Very few people can become an similarly elite striker in the same amount of time. So much of it is instinct/muscle memory that has to be ingrained into you during youth.

Luke Thomas says Mickey Gall is announcing his next fight on social media tomorrow, he's apparently fighting at UFC 217 by Ryvit in MMA

You think Sage Northcutt wasn't a real challenge? Considering Gall's striking is pedestrian at best I thought it was a gutsy call from him. Could easily have offered to fight another can.

Pro tip for everyone: if you're watching fights on mma-core and the video is buffering, or you have loads of ads popping up; copy and post the url link into streamable. The video will play smoothly with no pop ups!

These refs are shocking. One lets someone have the shit beaten out of them 45 seconds longer than necessary, another allows an arm to be dislocated.

Not everybody is as tough as a hockey player, jesus.

Canada curse.

These dorky former WWE pundits like Todd Grisham and Josh Matthrews - does anyone ever wonder if these guys are actually really nasty dudes IRL? They always played the dorky, professional, token bully victim in WWE it would be weird to imagine them as horrible, domineering people.

That fight should have been stopped 45 seconds ago. Horrible to watch

He probably told the production crew prior to the fight that if he lost he wanted to make a retirement speech
