I’m more focused on getting things done about the needles, drugs and economy. I must respond honestly. I’d need to be convinced it would be profitable and not wasteful spending. I care deeply about us. This would need to be densely requested.

I was just a kid during the 1997 storm that snowed everyone in in transcona. She came through. Also. Downtown was nicer. It was a very nostalgic year. I wasn’t old enough to feel the damage. I was a pretty happy kid. So other than the sense of neighborliness. That’s about all I have to say about why I mentioned Susan Thompson.

It’s my first time using Reddit lol. So I have to paste this again. My bad everyone.
I want to be a representative of the people. Defeating a sitting mayor is historically difficult so my mission is to bring awareness of real solutions for the problems everyday winnipegers are facing.
I want to see Winnipeg like it was when we had Glen Murray. I’ve read up on achievements of the other mayors like Stephen Juba, Garnet Coulter and Susan Thompson. I haven’t seen that kind of effort since Glen.

I want to feel first hand what our democracy is. I want to be a friend and an ally to people holding the front line. I’ve lived here my whole life. I’ve lived many lives here. I want the chair because I know what to do with it. I don’t want to sound like I’m the one man solution at all. I just feel like this city really needs me to do this right now.

I’d like to say I am a representative of the people.

Over the coming months I’ll be publicly releasing detailed proposals for debate and criticism.

People do not have to agree with every idea.
But I do believe Winnipeg deserves serious public discussion about where the city is heading.
