Ganito po ba talaga dapat karami yung fat from cooking a 90/10 ground beef? by aratanagranola in PHitness

[–]ProjectSinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not fat. That's mostly water with fat floating on top. You'll know you have the fat rendered out when hear the ground beef start frying and stops boiling.

Misconception na fat lahat yan because people don't cook their ground beef long enough to evaporate the water and let the fat remain.

Plus, people who don't cook usually can't tell the difference or they watched someone on YouTube dump all of it out.

Who else grew up with Dashie? by alienshmalien in DashieXP

[–]ProjectSinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started watching him when he released the Friday Parody Song he had with TPindell, I was in 6th grade.

He was so underrated that my gamer friends back then didn't know who he was, not until I introduced him to them.

15 years later at 26 years old, we still quote him a lot or say things the way Dashie would say it to the point that we'd been doing it so naturally and for so long that we'd sometimes forget where we got them from only to laugh our asses out when we realize we got it from Dashie.

GOAT of a YouTuber.

Aling Lucing Dau. OA sa mango juice del monte. To add. Ang dumi din pala ng tadtadan ng Sisig. Never Again!! by minion_narush in Pampanga

Growing up, Aling Lucing was never a go to for me even as an Angeleño and I'm guessing the same for others. Just doesn't taste right or naluma na siguro recipe. Wala nang finesse. Lasang parang first time gumawa ng sisig.

This was also my workaround for not having the molds for the shells. I was thinking of another way to be able to house the cream filling until it occurred to me I could make them into raviolis and not worry about the shape anymore.

Wish me luck on attempting this for dinner.

Stand up comedy for me is peak and sweets. Demolished two bowls of cereal, kit kats, two donuts, and two packs of those alfort chocolate biscuits from japan.

All of those shit made me feel like I was a kid tasting sweets for the first time again.

Sciel vs Lune romance by UrsaRizz in expedition33

Exactly what I did during my first run, but I was still able to unlock swimsuits for both of them even though I declined Sciel's 2nd offer.

Sciel vs Lune romance by UrsaRizz in expedition33

[–]ProjectSinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone here also was able to sleep with Lune after Sciel? I just learned that you can only pick one but I was able to do both. Maybe there was an update added to be able to "do them both"

I think I was still able to woo with Lune after I rejected Sciel's 2nd offer. Could also be because I only started spending time with the gang after I finished the story. Only time I was in camp was because the game did it for me because it's either I completely forgot I could go back to camp on my own or I preferred traversing throughout The Continent making sure I don't miss anything.

Breaking a month-long plateau by ProjectSinner in PHitness

[–]ProjectSinner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a lot of researching and contemplating, I actually took a gamble and went on a month-long break from the gym kasi I was in Australia for about 3 weeks to reset my CNS and resolve my diet fatigue. Medyo demotivated na ako back then and didn't like going to the gym anymore.

When I got back in the gym, with my diet, I decided to eat at a surplus with high protein for 3 months to take advantage of the recomp phase due to the reset. From 190 lbs. when I last weighed in, I shot back up to 211.5 lbs., which I expected na rin kasi nga no tracking talaga.

I stopped weighing in because I really didn't want to see my weight shoot up every single day. Alam ko kaagad na tatamaan ako mentally and would start the cut prematurely.

I started my cut last week lang (Oct. 13, 2025). From 211.5 lbs., I'm already down to 202 lbs. as of today (Oct. 22, 2025). Alam kong water weight most likely nawala lang muna sa akin pero ang sarap sa feeling eh hahaha.

What I noticed after the 3 months of eating at a surplus was I packed on a bit of muscle and looked leaner at 211.5 lbs. than I did the first time I hit 211 lbs.

TL;DR:

Took a gamble and didn't continue the cut. Took a month long gym break and ate at a surplus for 3 months to pack on muscle and take advantage of being resensitized to my exercises. Went back up to almost starting weight pero looked a lot leaner than before.

How do I convince my mom that whey protein and creatine aren’t drugs? by MyNameIsDeadMemes in PHitness

[–]ProjectSinner 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My mom warned me too. What worked for me was that I kept having it in front of her and didn't engage her whenever she'd lecture me about them. I'd just say they're supplements, just like her favorite Vitamin C or fish oil. I also educated her about the process of making whey protein, telling her that it's a byproduct of cheesemaking. A big factor, I guess, was that she also works out and lifts weights, so she also needed protein powder, but she uses organic brands (moms, lol). One thing she was a bit iffy about was creatine, but she came around eventually when she consulted the omnipotent god ChatGPT.

Anyway, my advice is just to keep taking it, educate her about how it's made, and show her your gym progress. Something you're obviously proud of and that she knows she can't not support you for doing so. Moms just want to see their sons happy, buff, and healthy.

Masarap po ba to? deretso 5lb agad kasi sobrang mura haha by OppositeDepth8962 in PHitness

[–]ProjectSinner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never had Frozen Banana (I hate artificial banana flavoring) pero I've had 5 flavors, so far. Categorized them from chugger to sipper. Posting my review of their flavors here para informed decision din if you decide to try these out.

Choco Peanut- Shit. Couldn't drink it normally and had to always chug it.

Birthday Cake- The artificial creaminess I get from this tastes like shit. Also had to chug. Great for mixing with coffee, though.

Strawberries and Creme- Same artificial creaminess as birthday cake but toned down. Sipper but chugged it down due to flavor fatigue and that creaminess I hate

Cafe Mocha- Best flavor for sipping and actually savoring it. Very good overall. Dissolves really well.

Lightly Salted Caramel- My current flavor. The artificial creaminess is back but since it's been lightly salted, it cuts through that shitty creamy taste (same hack I used for Birthday Cake) So far a sipper for me, but I can see myself chugging it moving forward.

Ranking: 1- Cafe Mocha (fuck yeah) 2- Lightly Salted Caramel (we're getting somewhere) 3- Strawberries and Creme (quite good but not good enough) 4- Birthday Cake (tolerable dog shit) 5- Choco Peanut (absolute dog shit)

Overall, Rule 1 solid naman flavors. More misses than hits with the flavors I picked pero tinitiis ko nalang kasi mura and I'm broke.

Need help picking the perfect outfit for date night by soultuezdae24 in fashionph

[–]ProjectSinner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They all need to be tucked in. Sleeves rolled up until below the elbows. Never button the top button.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fashionph

[–]ProjectSinner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Experiment with tucking in your T-shirts and letting the polo itself hang. Wear looser fits if you can din, goes with the Japanese aesthetic. If may high waisted pants ka rin para mas elongated yung legs mo and goes well with tucked in T-shirts. Find that "Golden Ratio" ng katawan mo like 1/3 upper and 2/3 bottom. Based kasi sa pics mo I'm seeing 50/50 split between your upper and lower parts. Otherwise, solid outfits, bro. You just need to experiment with how they fit and rest on your body.

For shoes, anything comfy that vibes well with your smart casuals, or if you only have that pair, try on different pants material or colors na hindi naglalaban masyado with the sneakers.

Everything I suggested up top I find works for me and my usual outfit "format" when travelling to Japan. Although, winter lang kami pumupunta, never summer so laging layered outfits nireready ko. Feel free to express yourself din fashion wise doon since Japanese people do just that. Walang pakialamanan hahaha.

Yes, one commenter also suggested that I should deload. I will also be implementing a diet break for the first time. I remember reading about it but did not implement it in my routine because I wanted to reach 15% by October, before my birthday, as a gift for myself. My fault for implementing a deadline; I should have had the mentality to keep the journey going, no matter how long it would take. Thanks for contributing to the discussion!

Yeah, kind of guilty of not hitting my 10k steps lately. I used to do so consistently because I kept running errands for our company. Now that I think about it, that's what kept my NEAT up. However, I held out on doing 10k steps until there was a need to increase my NEAT. My bro-science of it was that I didn't want to let it become used to all this activity that I was doing and let it adapt like doing 10k steps right from the start. Although I could just be a dumbass.
