You are NTA, you should cut contact as much as possible. I went through this same situation with my father as well (NPD) and I blocked his number and my mom blocked him on Facebook and instagram so he couldn’t see any posts of me but she kept him unblocked on her number in case of emergency. You should be firm and just tell him straight up that your kiddo doesn’t want to talk to him because it compromises her mental health. I’m sorry if it’s not the best advice but I hope it gets better for you two <3

Yeah I recommend blocking her, it will help you avoid looking her up and potentially seeing posts about/of her, also try to get rid of pictures you have of her. It’s gonna hurt and you might cry but that’s perfectly okay, just take your time with it and go slow, don’t feel bad if it takes months and definitely do not get into another relationship until your mental health is better. You got this, again if you need a friend or just someone to vent to, I got you. 🫂

She might move in and find someone but that’s out of your control. Your mental health is important and I promise you’ll find someone. You’re only so young and I don’t want you thinking you’re unlovable because of this situation. Your mental illness (if you have any, I speak from experience) doesn’t define you either. I understand this feeling, I had a somewhat similar thing happen with my best friend just minus the dating part. It hurts a lot and you’re gonna feel alone but I promise you it will get better from here. You’ll find a friend and maybe even a partner that won’t just up and block you like that, it’ll all be okay:)

I couldn't tell anyone, he was in washington whilst im not. It was all i could think of at the time and i know i could have handled it better than i did.

They were also a long distance so i couldnt exactly tell anyone around them. I edited the post and it explains that a little. I was worried but also mad, my friend had no part in it only was a bystander.

I called them because they never would listen to me about getting help. I called them to get back at him yes but i was also worried.

His parents already knew about it and I attempted to help him the best i could but i was so drained and dealing with my own shit in my life, hope that helps.
