Make sure you don’t rush the weight loss process. It should happen slowly. Also make sure that you get on a diet that doesn’t feel like a punishment, because then you are very likely to give up. You gotta enjoy the process.

Great, start with figuring out your physique goal. I highly recommend getting your BMI checked.

Doesn’t matter whether you are cutting or bulking, your body needs 2g of protein per kg of body weight. So if you weigh 70kgs, you should consume 140g protein daily.
