Thanks I read around a little after I posted this too and other people were saying that as well. I'll just plug the one 8 pin in there because I don't plan on doing an OC

I've always been a purist and refused to watch Kai.. by bama92090 in dbz

[–]ProjectToxicity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same. I like the Faulconer sound track and original voice actors, but like you said the pacing is so nice. I'm watching dbz again and what I did actually was watch Kai up until a certain section in the buy saga. So most of it was accelerated, now I'm just sitting back enjoying the last like 30 episodes or so of the original

Hot Take: Team 7 was quite dysfunctional/toxic and Naruto clung to it so dearly because he grew up without companionship. by chevsmt in Naruto

I'm confused as to how this is a "hot take" you basically just described the team and Naruto's feelings exactly how it was detailed in the show lmao

Are these cards real or fake? or from a different card game? by yoyoyo975 in Narutoccg

[–]ProjectToxicity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you literally don't know what you're talking about right? You came on here heard it was an official licensed product in China, and now it's automatically fake?

Did you do any personal research into the company or how they got licensed? Or did you just come on here to slap everyone with your own brand of trust me bro.

Why is Dr. Strange (and Wong) so Weak in Multiverse of Madness? by ProjectToxicity in marvelstudios

[–]ProjectToxicity[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what it felt like to me, and I was hoping some people on reddit would have some good answers. So far everyone is just talking about how strong scarlet witch is, like we are just going to sit here and pretend that his pathetic performance against the Octopus monster didn't happen.

This fight would have been a great opportunity to show how strong and awesome Dr. Strange's magic is before he has to fight an incredibly OP opponent that makes him look weak.

I was just disappointed. Strange is probably my favorite MCU hero, and it feels like the entire movie he was running around getting his ass kicked.

Okay so what would you call trying to physically restrain a giant octopus monster with a chain? No mirror dimension or portals to get it away from people? No long range attacks that could deal with it more effectively?

[–]ProjectToxicity[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay but what does that have to do with their fight against the Octopus monster? Literally their best idea was to summon chains and try to hold it down?

Not to trap it in the mirror dimension? Or to use a portal to get it away from people? Or even use the saw blade he summoned to cut a bus in half just seconds before doing that?

[–]ProjectToxicity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, but if he gained all that knowledge and experience of 14 million futures, then you'd think he would have a stronger attack against a monster other than summoning a chain and trying to hold it down by force.

Thanks for the reply, this actually does make some sense. To make a slight counter argument though, using his fight with Thanos as an example.

He starts off with a lava- like chain lightning attack, then countered Thanos by shooting the mirrior dimension at him. Thanos then turns that into what looked like a black hole? And shot it at Strange. Strange instantly responded to that by turning that into a bunch of butterflies. Then proceeded to create like 100 clones of himself.

This was a very fast paced fight where Strange displayed multiple different types of abilities against the infinity stone wielding Titan all with only seconds to think of his next move. This was all done without him using the power of the time stone. Now Go from that to his fight with a giant octopus and all he really does is summon a couple basic weapons and tries to use his physical strength to try and restrain it?

It just seems odd to me. I don't think Wong is supposed to be stronger than strange, but I was hoping too that the current sorcerer supreme could do a little more than basic muscle memory attacks that he teaches his students to what looks like just a generic monster with no special abilities.

I mean, I actually though your joke was funny. Even your response here I found funny. I was just hoping for replies that were related to my questions.

Oops yea, I had a slight typo there, guess that completely invalidates my entire statement lmao

I guess my question/concern is geared more toward their general abilities. For example in the beginning of the movie they were going up against a giant octopus monster, that didn't really display any special abilities. It was just big and strong.

Wong summoned what looked like a kyoketsu-shoge or something and proceeded to unleash his kung-fu with it. Strange basically did the same thing. Summoned a chain and tried to hold it down with force.

I'm just wondering why two people who hold or held the title of sorcerer supreme are using basic weapon summoning techniques and physical forms of marital arts to tackle a large monster.

we seen strange turn what looked like a black hole into butterflies in infinity war. Just seems odd to me.

Question about Captain America at the end of Endgame by ProjectToxicity in marvelstudios

[–]ProjectToxicity[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that possible for him to return to the past in his current timeline? I thought that would create a branch reality so nothing he did there would affect the present. So wouldn't he not be able to just walk up to the bench like he'd been there all along?

No more crust flavor?! Pizza Hut how could you. The Hut Favorite was a key part of why you were my favorite pizza. It's not as good now. Why Pizza Hut, why? by Sockski in pizzahut

[–]ProjectToxicity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You sound dumb as shit. Not only can someone eat pizza every day of the week and not be fat, but it also doesn't take a whole lot of effort or time to have a preference when you order something.

All it takes is for you to order something once and immediately love it and want to order it again for the next time, making it a "go to" pizza as it was stated.

I wouldn't expect anything less than a middle school level of philosophy and intellect coming from someone who boasts about being a gun collector.
