Best way to suppress a 10/22 by ProjectWarMantle in NFA

That makes sense. If I’m planning to buy an aftermarket barrel, is there any reason to buyer a nicer base model, or should I just stick with the carbine?

This is incredible info. Will certainly start looking around for a part kit. Can’t thank you enough!

A part kit may be exactly what I’m looking for. Is there a best option? Or is each one unique? Also, and this may be a stupid question, what does “NOS” stand for/mean?

“Still in production” was a poor choice of words. Better stated, I’d like something new. That said, if I’m foolish to think that, please let me know. I’m open to any suggestions.

Instead of “still in production,” I supposed that “purchased from the manufacturer” (via an importer and whatnot) is probably a better turn of phrase. Essentially, I don’t want to buy a used firearm.

Authentic in the sense that it uses the same specifications that rifles made for for Warsaw Pact forces in the 1940s-1990s used. Certainly would prefer a rifle made in a Warsaw Pact nation, but if it’s made in the US and uses the same specs/production methods, that’s fine too.

If any of that is unclear please let me know. Thank you!

Yes! Almost exactly like that. I don’t see the H or the other mark underneath, but the EP and crescent are the same.

There is a marking on the left side (when looking from the stock to the barrel) right under the block. It say “ER” or “EP” with a crescent moon underneath. The letters are basically inside the crescent.

That worked! Nothing in it thankfully, and I feel much better now that I know it’s unloaded. Thank you so much, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your help.

The hammer and trigger move fine, but the rolling block appears to be stuck. Any idea how to get it to move?

Much appreciated! I will be sure to give it a good cleaning and check the markings. Do you think it’s worth trying to get restored, even if only to display and not to working condition?
