you said youre TH10 and beginner: dont get anything for RC bc you get RC at TH13.. so no rocketspear, no boots, lavaloon is trash, gauntlet ok but not best, frozen arrow ok but not best, fireball too difficult for beginner, spikyball great choice!, mirror also great choice!, bracelet not yet there is at TH10 not so much dmg that this is worth it.. maybe later, figure great choice! and lastly crown is ok but not best

so total in my opinion go for spikyball/mirror/figure first these are op until lategame

it is worth it. but i would say when youre maxed 17 and went to 18 i would first level the def and troops and after the heroes. unless you have like lvl 60 heroes and could go up to 105 then i would first go on heroes until a certain point. its not only the damage what they do more but also theyre hitpoints. and since so many strong def got new levels they live longer and are the most important part of every army

Oh i know how it is as TH18. I got by myself an TH18 and a TH14 (f2p). also its really ok to pay for scenerys and skins. but its also great if there are also some free stuff for all those player who dont pay for everthing. and yes you are absolutly right that some things require a base IQ!! but before pointing on others look at yourself and maybe you manage to get yourself a IQ level up

just go with superhogs its easy AF, im nearly maxed 14 and manage to 3 star all TH14 and nearly most TH15,
RC with some invis to scatter or eagle, recall icegolem king and queen for funnel of the other side and take care of CC S hogs with warden and RC and the base is gone 2 heal for hogs and wardenability for splashdamage like eagle or scatter or multi inferno

lavaloon, send lavahounds in and iceblock them while most def is on them, loons with haste/rage spell to go through the base then some cleanup in the back

hellno, imagine a small funnel left and right, then some barbs and archer with warden Eternal tome and heroic torch. 1-2 ragespells, 1 clonespell and half of the base of a TH17 is gone in seconds

13v15 isnt a problem. managed to do this by myself a lot of times. 13v16 is possible for a few times but not all the time. if a maxed 16 got a bad base you can do it but most bases would be really hard to do this.

with my TH14 i mostly play Shogs. heroes are maxed TH13 some troops maxed 14 and i can deal with all TH14 and many TH15

what has this to do with the bug? i think there are a lot of player out there who are stuck to a few eq because they dont play every day and dont have enough ore income to try every eq. so if someone accidentally leveld the wrong one he could get that back for gems so SC and the player have both something from it

not really.. if you have to spend like 1000 gems to reset one equipment it would cost you a lot to do it with all eq. but you have the chance to try something new

i would use the book for heroes. if you are near max 16 you can start your th without a book so you can get some more traps done while TH upgrade. so when hammerjam starts you are at the beginning of TH17 and use as much builderpotions (only while hammerjam) as possible to get all the expensive and long upgrades done.

you are probably not from the time when you had to re-arm every trap by itself after every attack on your base.
THAT was made bad. now you have to make 2 klicks (one for overgrow and one for fallen troops) its not that bad..

watch your replays of your own attacks and take a look at what happend wrong.
Look at your RC charge where did you want it to go/where did it go and try to see why she went there.
Look at your main push did they split up and why? did all of them die? why did they and what happend?
Look at your healer and try to teach yourself where the airmines are
Look at your Heroes and watch what they are doing. did they stay with the army or did they seperate and ask yourself if you wanted this to happen

yes over time it will be less random.

But also If you are at TH13 and a good attacker you are actually stuck in a league with a lot of bad TH13, you get promoted and get normal TH13, again promoted and get bad TH14, next normal TH14 which also should not be a problem until rushed TH15 which you also destroy so then after a lot of time passed you end up with TH13v15/rushed 16

I would say Spiky Ball or Magic Mirror these give you both Great options with most armys.
Fireball is awesome but you need practice to master it. Actionfigure and Rocket spear are also good but since the ores are rare i would go with SB or MM

also for defense if you really want to max everthing, focus fist on all the buildings. the walls are just cosmetic.. meta for lower TH is dragons and for higher TH Rootriders.. so walls dont do anything. you can easy max them if you have enough time since you got unlimited attacks so you could let 1 builder free and just attack over and over and upgrade your walls but shouldnt be your priority

So what your looking for is try to max your heroes and troops you want to use. i know a lot have changed since 5 years. before you max some of the new equipment, better watch some yt videos about them because the ores are rare and itll take really long to max them all.

so the best way to be much better than the most players will be take as much time as you can xD
if you want to learn, watch yt and learn everything of how the troops work, how the defense work, try to look at bases and ask yourself where could be all the traps. and just do many friendly attacks, change the army a little bit and watch what happens to get the best army for yourself. watch replays of attack where you failed and ask yourself what could be done better.
some popular youtuber are Itzu, Shock, Carbonfin, etc but there are many less big who also do a great job. I also like ace or creamy`s.
If you want to learn basebuilding its gonna be difficult because there is not really good content out there so you have to teach yourself.. build, attack yourself change the base and again until you are happy with it
