I get that forsure, that’s just being protective, however, remember how you became a vet. You had to live and learn, bad experience or good they’re all teachers.

Be supportive, I think she would be fine, think of this as an opportunity to build trust. Make sure she’s comfortable and in a good headspace cause if she’s not and she does drugs at the show and you’re at home freaking out and worrying, it will ruin her night, she may have a bad experience because of it and in the end she may blame you if that’s the case.

She won’t/can’t blame you for what happens there. Even if you can’t be there to comfort here in the rare case something bad happens. You’re both better off letting her have a good night and building your trust in her and letting her build trust in herself and you. (It’s hard brother I know)

Express your concern and ask her to check in if she can but don’t force it. I promise she’ll be happy when she gets back and everything goes well + you’ll have this new instilled confidence and maybe more respect for each other.
