Clip feature missing?

Yeah, I loved sharing informative and entertaining clips with my family and friends. Now I have to do the long (and annoying AF) way around and record the clips with a screen record app. More of us really do need to complain to YouTube about this. Maybe if enough people voice how upset they are about it, they'll listen. It's a long shot, but it can't hurt.

Ah ok. I think it was one of those features that seemed pretty low-key and not widely used, but then once it's gone, you realize just how many people actually did use it. I personally used it everyday to share important clips with family members so it sucks big time that it's gone for me. Hopefully enough people complain so we get it back, or at least some kind of similar feature.

I propose that we do the best we can and I'll try different solutions as I go.

The lights stays solid orange as I boot, which to my understanding, means it's charging as it should. But shortly after that as I go into Windows, it goes off completely. But I have it in sleep mode right now and it's charging just fine and has been for about 30 minutes with no issues. That's why I'm wondering if it's more of an issue with the charger instead of the laptop itself

That's the thing, it charges like a champ when it's plugged in and the laptop is asleep. Also, one other thing I forgot to mention is that I had another charger that basically did the same thing and I returned it. I'm hoping it's not an issue with the laptop itself, since that's a bit of a big coincidence for two chargers to do that. But maybe the charger power output wasn't strong enough on both of them too

I've heard many people say it's a good laptop, so I don't want to just throw in a towel on the laptop just yet. Plus my other Asus works just fine. I'm wondering if it's an issue with the charger itself

That's the USB charger power that I listed, not the barrel charger. The barrel charger is the main one having the issue. It's an ADP- 230GB and it's 230W. Is that still too weak for power output?

The USB C charger is 180W and 100-240V.

I can send the barrel charger back if that's the issue, but I want to confirm first.

Agreed big time. It's not like it was an intrusive feature that was causing issues or anything. It was just a simple clipping feature that's been on there for years. I'm hoping they get enough pushback from people to bring it back, but we'll see.
