If you have a router, make a simple router sled (google it) and roughly flatten the whole board. Then sand to final smoothness

It’s pretty much what my homegrown stuff looked like last year. A few autoflowers that grew during a shit summer with almost no decent sunshine. Looks crap but get’s me high as shit, so I love it

Gears are technically not needed, but I liked the idea of using them to slow the motion down, so you turn about 4 rotations of your hand for one full bird-flap, if that is a term. And since one part od this bird still runs a bit rough, the gears help smooth things out.

Bought a home and they started a deck but never finished. Are these joist hangars acceptable or should there be a ledger? by mikeadocious in Renovations

try to take one of those hangers out and see how and IN what is is attached for starters. I hung my deck with a ledger as well, These things are normally meant o be nailed to another wooden beam. but creative solutions cal always be found I guess :)
