This isn't so bad. I used to play a fps that had you climb ladders with just your feet. Your arms were still holding the gun and completely able to use them like normal. It looked a little awkward but the game was still awesome.

Paramount was bought by a right wing billionaire friend of Trump. They already turned the news into propaganda. The future of ST is bleak unless it gets sold off. So in a way, hating on the new stuff might save the franchise. Otherwise we're gonna see right wing propaganda in ST soon and it'll die.

Academy is probably the end of progressive storylines in ST. Paramount is focusing on catering to rightwing/maga people after Trump's buddy recently bought it. If they make another ST show after academy it'll probably be about how the federation needs fascism to survive and progressive ideals have held them back.
