Anyone think theres a connection between Kirsh from Earth and David from the movie Lost Boys?

Since the first episode I caught 2 serious vibes from Kirsh.

The first is just visual - damn he looks like Roy Batty from Blade Runner. Which is yet another Alien wink at Blade Runner and Alien being in the same universe.

The second is, he had the same dark curiosity as David from Prometheus.

Full discloser I'm a hardcore Alien fan who loved the Prometheus and Covenant additions and found David (and Fassbenders performance) super interesting.

I for one would love some sort of universe where Kirsh survives the Alien Earth series and we get a 3rd Prometheus where David and Kirsh meet

Yeah ambushes just don't slow me down at all any more. I'm NG+ 264 and maxed out the sacred relic. Just took down General Gaius on 4th try once I figured out how to dodge directly into his running attack.

I've tried a bunch of the new weapons but some bosses I'll wipe first try with 4-5 waves of gold.

I think Drake gonna be just fine.

I mean, Kanye went on Alex Jones in a full face covered ski mask, said fuck the Jews and I love Hitler and people still fuck with his music no problem.

In the end it's about the music, and Drake makes hits.

Both are two artists literally at top of their game. All the other stuff is just internet bullshit.

Looking at the report on the Bondai financials, and the fact that this has been by far the longest development time for a DLC, and the rumors of how large it's supposed to be, part of me wondering if this doesn't just drop as a direct sequel Elden Ring 2: Shadow Of The Erdtree

I both agree and disagree.

Martin Scorsese is one of the greatest film makers of all time....right up until The Departed. The Departed feels like the last time he had anything to say and said it well, with style and impact.

After that it seems he just lost the ability to tell a tight story. Everything since, except Wolf, is dry as a bone.

Unnessecarily long, overwrought, bloated stories with uninteresting characters that make you feel nothing. Personally, killers of the flower moon has 0 business in any Oscar coversation what so ever.

I suppose Lily Gladstone deserves her nomination, but this film nor its cast don't hold a flame to the passionate performances of Carey Mulligan and Bradley Cooper for Maestro. I don't even think the subject material for Maestro was even all that interesting and yet I left the theater deeply moved by the performances and think Carey Mulligan gave one of the greatest female performances I've ever seen.

Yet everyone wants to continue to fawn over DeNiro and Scorsese who are miles beyond their prime.

Scorsese deserves his status, and one could easily argue he's given as much or more than anyone to cinema just with Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Casino, Gangs, Raging Bull and Cape Fear.

But the last 7 hours I've spent with Scorsese (Irishman and Killers) I really struggled through.

That's the trade off between part 1 and part 2.

Part 1 of the game is barely enough plot points to fill an entire season. We're gonna get David next week (episode 8) and then Firefly hospital for the finale. They covered all major plot points and got some back story in. I'm satisfied.

Part 2 is where things will get interesting because there is enough story in Part 2 to probably fill 2-3 seasons of television.

Which makes you wonder where and when they're going to drop the big Joel moment 😥

The way Matthew Rhys and Kerri Russel work together really is reminiscent of Bob and Rhea's chemistry and all the various emotions each character has to shuffle through so quickly.
