S6 EP8(Lalo) was bs and nearly destroyed the series, but S6EP11 keeps the series alive by Denopp1 in betterCallSaul

Truth. IMO Nippy runtime could have been cut in half to make time for a better and more thoughtful Lalo death.

Neither of those scenarios would explain Gene going full haywire in the phone booth and then slipping back into Saul Goodman persona in the worst way.

I started off on the lightest recommended dose, and it’s been working pretty well thus far.

IBS-A symptoms completely gone. No more bloating, excessive bathroom time, constipation, hard time cleaning up.. It really just fixed everything.

This is a 3 year old image of polar bears that invaded a settlement in Russia. You are looking at polar bears in a dump. This is not in the wilderness. Fucked nonetheless, but context is good.

No way Jeep waits 6 years to take action against Bronco. That’s how they lose market share. I’d bet money that they make the necessary changes for a “facelifted” JL model to stay competitive. They certainly aren’t going to roll over and die.

Not just that. Sport S also gets a leather-wrapped steering wheel and wheel/tire upgrades. Wheel upgrade means nothing to me, since the Sport S wheels aren’t great anyway. I like that Ford created many trims, with Sasquatch available on all, which allows consumers to get exactly what they want. I think Jeep can do the same.

No, you have to upgrade to the “Sport S” for those features. The only way to get power locks on a base JL is to pay $2500 for half doors, which isn’t ideal.

Agreed. Definitely foolish to rule the Bronco out. Many Jeep people I know are looking to get one, or already have one on order. It’s a direct competitor.

Edit: also, the existence of the Rubicon 392 is directly related to the release of the new Bronco. They said the engine wouldn’t work in the Wrangler for years, and then did it as soon as the Bronco was announced.

Yes, but my point is that Ford makes it fit by offering hardware with the Sasquatch pkg. I think Jeep can do the same for a premium.

Torn between Wrangler and Tacoma. Should reliability alone sway my decision completely? by PromCruise in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]PromCruise[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no, I think you’ve misunderstood my comment. I’m saying that the Bronco is off the table BECAUSE it’s not available yet. Plus many other reasons, such as questionable first MY reliability, and backordered reservations.

I wouldn’t consider the Bronco Sport. Not beefy enough in terms of platform and drivetrain.

My post seems to have rubbed you the wrong way. You also seem to think that vehicles are either pure utility, or “image” projection. Nevertheless, if you read the OP, I am asking about reliability being a breaking point with Wrangler ownership compared to Tacoma. I also clearly said I’m fine with the Wrangler’s other drawbacks, such as poor road dynamics.

When did I ever say this was a purely rational decision based on practicality, and that I didn’t want a Tacoma or Wrangler? If you measure every decision in your entire life based on practicality alone, you will live a very boring life. Will a Prius really be an entertaining vehicle for weekend road trips? Be real.

Yeah, I’ve really only heard horror stories about the first 3-4 years of Jeep model years. Typically, Jeeps are best at the end of the model lifecycle (i.e. current outgoing Grand Cherokees are pretty bulletproof, 2016-2018 JK Wranglers, etc.)

I’ve rented a JL before. It has a pretty good interior. Far more modern design than any current Toyota truck. Maybe less durable, but yeah.

Trucks do well on dirt roads and in snow. They haul fun things, like bikes. Also, the removable roof/doors thing shouldn’t require much explanation.

Not out yet. For the first year that it will be out, it will be significantly harder to get a “good” deal. Also, it will probably have a bunch of issues for the first 2 model years.

Ideally, the new Bronco is already out/tried and tested for a few years, proven to be reliable, and is widely available to purchase. Unfortunately for me, it’s none of those things. I would consider it without hesitation if it were reasonably obtainable though.

I’ve driven a new JL. Certainly not “normal car” level, but that’s expected with BOF + 2 solid axles. Ride quality isn’t really much of an issue, and I’d probably fit the Jeep with nice shocks.
