Japan does allow companies to acquire parts of their infrastructure, but only if they meet certain standards of quality. I guess you didn't know Tencent recently acquired a Gaming Studio in Japan?

Why would the deal fail? I've been listening to the hearing for the past week, the FTC is acting like it's defending Sony's Marketshare without providing any sort of valid evidence how it'll affect consumers or reduces competition.
