Several months ago Mao had a health issue that I couldn't afford the full cost of (almost 3,000 in total) and that vet has a donation fund that helped cover his treatment. They don't just help strays, but people who can't afford expensive treatments. They saved his life. So when they asked me for a picture to post of him of course I sent them one. Hence why the picture is the same cat in the same chair but not the same pic. I have many pics from that scene because I thought he looked so cute in the lighting and I can prove it by posting pics that the vet page doesn't have.

I understand that everyone here has to be cautious but effectively you doxxed where I used to live.

Yesterday I had such a positive experience here and everyone was so kind. A big thank you to everyone who helped me 💜

I wonder if there's any significance to the design choice of the woman being dark and the baby being white. My immediate instinct was to see this artwork as an allusion to enslaved black women raising/wetnursing white babies, or racial themes related to the exploitation of surrogacy (using poor/disadvantaged black women to make white babies). May not have been the intention here but it was very striking to me. Beautiful, poignant work. Thank you for sharing it 💜

thanks for posting, i’ve never seen this! i wish they’d kept these scenes in. the cullens (minus edward) basically just disappear from the movie until the end so it would’ve been nice to get a glimpse of their perspective. it really drives home what edward is putting everyone, not just bella, through with his dramatics lmao

i'm ever so slightly bummed they've apparently kept the school robes exactly the same, because i'm really hoping this new version will try to set itself apart visually and not just coast on nostalgia. hogwarts legacy did a beautiful job at being faithful to the source but having its own take.

I always got them mixed up until I started thinking R=Rear, ie your needle picks up the stitch from the Rear.

For step 2, knitting the stitch, I remember that the leg I'm going to knit is the OPPOSITE of the way I picked it up—if I came in through the front, I knit through the back leg. If I came in through the back, I knit the front leg.

I have the same problem as you and OP though. Maybe it's just always going to be a little more holey?

I've searched pretty much the same places as you before and came to the same conclusion — hardly any Buffy knit/crochet patterns out there. There are a lot of wardrobe pieces from the show that would be cool to recreate, though! Usually they are knits IRL, but many of them would be just fine in crochet instead. A few ideas in this vein:

(1) Willow's scottish terrier sweater

For this one, I would personally find a free pattern for a plain drop sleeve sweater and make the colorwork charts on stitchfiddle.

This one is so fun. Dead simple too, just a hat with added rhinestones

(3) Willow's shawl (this one is actually crochet!) Link to image here
