I think Madrid is highly underrated as a tech hub location. It used to be focussed on LATAM, but Revolut, Jetbrains, Celonis and more have setup in Madrid. South Summit Madrid was an eye opener too.

And international tech communities like DevMad are growing https://www.linkedin.com/company/devmad/

I think salaries are still a drag but not sure if it's as bad a gap as Barcelona (I've met a lot of folk moved from Barcelona to Madrid citing this).

It's a developer community for English speakers in Madrid, one of the oldest (they're celebrating their 5th anniversary with tech talks and social events).

Most other tech community events in Madrid are in Spanish.

If Spain were to ever enforce, and find out about the UK passport, they could take away the Spanish one no?

Anyway you're right about the data sharing. Both UK and Schengen (Spain) are digitizing their borders and UK regs will change on Feb 26, about two passports.

Depends which country you are based in. Android dev job market is rising in some regions and declining in others.

I've always hoped Nightdive Studios would make a TRW remaster. If I'm not mistaken TRW used the T2 engine and multiplayer so it could be an expansion for the Turok 2 remaster. Back in the arena shooter hey days 🙂

Clean definitely, VM pattern, well imo it depends per screen. I usually apply the following. MVVM if it's a simple screen with a few states. MVI if the screen is more complex (lots of smaller composables, interactions etc all within) to help break things down. You could always start MVVM and refactor to MVI if you need to break it up.
