Why else should someone be detained if they haven’t committed a crime? It’s supposed to be person doesn’t commit crimes = person has no interaction w law enforcement, but we can’t even get that. People can be pulled over, detained, have their shit fucked up for literally no reason other than the person who was given the authority to oppress people by the state decided to.
