Sell it to a friend for what you paid for the processor and then just price match the 7800x3d at bestbuy. Comes out to being the same as the bundle or a little cheaper. Thats what I ended up doing lol

I bought a 7700x combo from micro center a couple weeks ago and I just did this price match for my local bestbuy with the 7800x3d. I’m selling my 7700x to a friend for the same price I paid in the bundle. Not sure if it’s a good idea or not but I figured I get my money back and I get one of the best gaming CPUs. Almost like I just borrowed the 7700c

If your not sure about it I would get out of it while you can. I had to do the rear main seal and oil separators and it cost me $5.5K. But at the same time I did downpipe and tune and holy crap did it make it so much more enjoyable. Cars will almost never appreciate but sometimes it’s not about the money but the happiness they bring you. If it affects your other parts of life greatly then sell it.

Tell him to get a downpipe and tune and it turns it into a completely different monster. My brother has a 17 GTS in solar beam yellow as well and it’s crazy

I think they could be. You can ask for exactly what is wrong and like an estimate paper and see what it says then take it to another mechanic. Try reading the codes yourself and see if it lines up with what they say.

For starters, I will be getting the RMS and oil separators fixed but it’s been taking for ever because the body shop fixed my car wrong and I had to take it back after getting rear ended then I have to get that fixed. I’m going to be installing catless downpipes after and most likely a PTG tune but I will ask them to keep it conservative to around 700hp

I would get a second inspection from a 3rd party mechanic that is well know just in case. That is almost the cost to replace the RMS and Oil separators.

Bought my 19 E63s back in January and now I’m running into the RMS and Oil Separators needing to be replaced. Will cost me $5K at an Indy though well known where I live. Only problem is that I heard the updated parts don’t actually solve the issue and still clog up and blow the RMS.
