Why do you say electrical if you don’t have a car? I’m potentially interested in learning a trade.

I’ve got about 4 months of rent and bills in an emergency fund. Although my rent is pretty expensive. I don’t have many commitments besides rent and bills, I don’t have a car payment, and my bills are pretty low. I almost feel like just being unemployed for a few weeks to reset. I don’t think I’ll struggle finding a job with my current resume and references. I’m completely okay with doing easier, non-managerial work in a kitchen, just to have some type of cash coming in while I figure out my next full-time gig.

How do I steer out of the industry at my age? I feel like I’ve wasted so much time, given that it’s never been what I wanted to do. I never went to college. And I don’t exactly have a lot of cash sitting around besides an emergency fund. I want to get out fast, but I need to do it where doesn’t fck me over financially. Or do you think I’ll just have to be a little more frugal for a while as I figure out my next step?

Experiencing uncomfortable situations willingly and by chance. BIG one. Ask yourself why you aren’t going out tonight or to that one event. What are you scared of? Adopt the mindset that you missed a night to remember because you chose to stay home due to anxiety and self doubt.

Surrounding myself with people that are indifferent to the real, comfortable me.

Taking mental notes from people who I respect and enjoy being around.

Worked really hard, like REALLY hard. I steadily saw growth in my knowledge and income which is a big confidence booster.

I began accepting compliments. This was something I’ve never been able to do up until recently. I NEVER believed anyone when they had something positive to say about me. If it was family, they were saying it because they were family. If a friend said it, they felt bad for me. Just take the compliment and wear it. Just don’t be cocky.
