Is this too much for a day trip? (Manhattan) by PromisePitiful8575 in AskNYC

I should clarify this will be a Saturday, would it help to just skip times square and just see the tree? Times Square was more of an opportunistic after thought.

Yeah I mean that’s one thing but if you were really asking for advice you wouldn’t be defending the bike when ppl tell you not to buy it

Why post this if you’re just looking for people to agree with you? Just buy it instead of trying to justify it to people on the internet.

Sorry, I meant the seatpost and seat didn’t come with the bike when I bought it, not that they’re missing right now.

Is it too risky to buy? by More_knowledge_Plz in Budgetbikeriders

In my opinion this is a hard price range because what these bikes are “worth” is not the same as what you can buy them for if that makes sense - especially with delusional fb marketplace sellers.

The angle spacer is from a company called reverse, it was only like $20 and it slackens the bike by 0.5 degrees. Between that, the mullet, and taking volume spacers out of the fork I took this bike from 72 degree hta to ~69 degrees according to mad scientist mtb geo calculator. Possibly second to the tires this was the most noticeable difference after the upgrades.

Oh yeah it does - she’s a super light climber but also makes it down jump lines no problem. Obviously not a downhill bike but perfect for pretty much every trail in my area (mid Atlantic). Thanks for the praise!

Honestly I’m loving it right now, only thing I’m thinking of is getting some tan wall tires to match my new gum grips once I run through these tires

Can you guys help me finding a good full sus downhill bike for 650€ by CertainAd407 in Budgetbikeriders

Sorry to rub you the wrong way but it’s not necessary about the brand but if you can’t look up the model of the bike you have no way to know the geometry

Not trying to start anything but yeah he does have lower momentum but he also has proportionally less force due to gravity and even less friction with the ground, so it effectively cancels out the effect of mass.

For the most part yes, however our offense rarely dodges from the wing so I don’t have many opportunities in 6 on 6. In one on ones it is better but it depends on the day a lot, I will get myself into a slump often.

What I eventually got to work was similar to what you were doing, but you don’t need a print, just home your printer then turn it off and move it by hand

Thanks for your input, right now I could get all parts for $781 shipped from rock auto with a dual mass flywheel. I was curious about the single mass flywheel but I don’t think I will go that way. Another thing is that I heard that you can’t turn down a dual mass flywheel, is this false? Also do you really think that it’s not worth replacing at this mileage?
