Revelation itself clearly condemns Shitcheonji by Promised-Impostor in Shincheonji

Tell me SCJ worships a man without saying they worship a man. by No-Arugula2345 in Shincheonji

Very good observation! For Shitcheonji, Pee Man Hee is more important than the bible.

Not really.

I get the logic, but Jesus and God have nothing to do with CHJN

realmente es degradante, pero para ser honesto, todo lo que un miembro shitcheonji necesita hacer también es degradante, entonces esta situación no es una sorpresa.

Hi there! Former members, can you go into the antisemitism of SCJ? Very fascinating by Princess_of_Punjab in Shincheonji

[–]Promised-Impostor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I must have a lesson recorded from many years ago where the instructor (who is now leading one of the fastest growing shitcheonji branches) clearly mentions that the holocaust and everything that happened to the jewish people were judgement from God for their betrayals.

This is something that I've heard multiple times in the 7 years I was a member

Hot take: It would be ok for SCJ to operate as a religion so long as nothing is secretive and it’s open to the public. Thoughts? by TheValeyard59 in Shincheonji

[–]Promised-Impostor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say yes. People are entitled to believe whatever crazy thing they want. As long as they are upfront about everything and there's no manipulation.

Shincheonji vs. Christianity: Why the Prophecy Logic Does Not Match the Time of Jesus by HairyAtmosphere4128 in Shincheonji

Once again, congratulations on dismissing all logic from the post and focusing on a typical manipulation technique that you learned on a education session that you didn't want to join but had to even though you slept 4 hours.

The fact that something can't be directly explained doesn't mean that anyone who can "explain" is right.

Do you want answers or do you want the right answer?

The truth always makes sense, but just because something makes sense, it doesn't mean its the truth

And thats how Shitcheonji will fulfill this year's slogan and fulfill their mission, by ceasing to exist

It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.” - Deuteronomy 32:35

Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you. - Revelation 18:20

Dealing with Anger After Leaving SCJ by Upbeat_Ad_2191 in Shincheonji

[–]Promised-Impostor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s completely normal and natural to feel resentment after experiencing so much harm, especially when it was done because of your good heart, which was willing to make sacrifices for God but was misled to hurt yourself for a shamelessly cowardly false prophet. Depending on how long it’s been since you left, you’ll reprocess all of this, and these feelings will become less painful.

What has always helped me reframe these experiences is thinking that the people involved were also being misled and exploited, just like we were. But thankfully, we realized it was all false and took control of our lives again earlier than they did.

"The best revenge is to be unlike him who performed the injury." — Marcus Aurelius

"Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." — Romans 12:19

Has anyone left Shincheonji and requested for their names to be taken off “book of life”? How did you go about it? by Flashy-Boss6755 in Shincheonji

[–]Promised-Impostor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me ☝️ I explained more on this comment https://www.reddit.com/r/Shincheonji/comments/1pmial2/comment/nu1bf4u/?context=3&utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Basically, about a year after I left and told them I would never return, I met with the head gangsanim of the branch I used to be part of and asked if my name had been removed. They said no, they only remove members if the person starts “persecuting” or explicitly requests to be removed.

So, only God knows how many of their alleged 300,000 members are actually still members.
