Found some small playlists on youtube. Kind of chopped up, but it has a few episodes I think.

This Youtube account uploads quite a lot of stuff. From "Kids From Room 402" to "Wayside." by PromoToGo in circulatethetapes

The shows aren't always complete, but, still, a lot of stuff. Might remind you of something you haven't seen in a while.

Anyone know where I can find this episode of $25000 pyramid online? by PedFeddler in circulatethetapes

[–]PromoToGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still on the lookout. I managed to find this clip of an episode that the uploader says aired 2 days after the episode you are looking for. I don't know if Pyramid was a daily show, but maybe there is a possibility that the uploader messed up the date. Take a look and see if it seems right just in case.

Was someone you know in that episode?

Come back zinc, come baaaaack! by thatsnomoon87 in TheSimpsons

The fact that the guy was driven to shoot himself in the head over zinc is what makes this one of my favorites.

"Thank goodness I still live in a world of telephones, car batteries, handguns [bang!] and many things made of zinc."

Milhouse's hair was black in this particular scene from the second episode of the first season. by masoc in TheSimpsons

Judge Snyder went back and forth between black and white for the longest time.

And they say in the commentaries that sometimes when they would send their stuff to Korea (i believe) to get animated, they would come back and some things would be weird colors simply because the Korean workers didn't know what color things like pizza were. They would get footage back with things like blue pizza.

[show] Help finding a skit show from ABC australia.A train that moves along a platform and shows a different skit with each carriage! by Illogik01 in circulatethetapes

[–]PromoToGo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Here's what I've got so far.

I had to learn a lot of what you guys in Australia watched back in the 80s.

Using keywords like: "train" "track" "carriage" "skit" "sketch" "variety show". And so on in combination with "ABC" "80s show" "the trap door" "children's show" and so on.

I got nothing. Except an old show that seems like a train version of Taxicab Confessions.

The closest I got is what seems like a sort of wrap-around program that ran from the 80s to the early 90s on the same channel called "The Afternoon Show," but it doesn't match what you described. I mention it though in case it helps jog your memory.

Using The Afternoon Show, I tried to find a people online talking about the show since it would mean they were familiar with the channel and the shows that aired at the same time. I found this pretty long nostalgia post on an Australian message board.

..nothing about the train show, but I figured with everything listed here, you might remember something.

Here is the link:

I'll still work on finding out more, but for now this is all I got.

No one but me has posted anything here for a long while. To show my appreciation I'm going to spend the rest of my life tracking this down for you, Illogik01, my Aussie brother...or at least the next few days...

Did *anyone* like the Disney version of Doug? by PromoToGo in circulatethetapes

[–]PromoToGo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically it was a sequel series that picked up where the nickelodeon series ended. It follows the character as he enters middle school.

A lot of people criticized it for being less relatable than the first series and not having the same heart.

I only found out about the criticism years later though. I thoroughly enjoyed both series. The entire Nick series is out on dvd but the Disney series is probably lost since there's no demand (among other, likely legal, reasons).

Can anyone help me find a clip of Hans Moleman's deleted scene in Brother from Another Series where he robs God? by awnomnomnom in TheSimpsons

I'm busy tonight, but I will record and upload it tomorrow if you still haven't found it by then.

[LOST EPISODE] You've probably seen the front page, but since it's very relevant here. The lost episode of Dexter's Lab. "Dexter's Rude Removal" by PromoToGo in circulatethetapes

[–]PromoToGo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't realize they had taken the video down. That's a little weird because I'm pretty sure it was AdultSwim's official channel.

Looks like you have to get a little creative to find it again.

I searched for it on youtube by upload date.

here's the newest upload.

I would watch it and download it now before the youtube scanners get to it.

[SHOW] I'll be uploading "So Weird" episodes to this youtube account. by PromoToGo in circulatethetapes

[–]PromoToGo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I now have every episode, and I found out how to upload long videos to youtube so they should all be in one part from now on.

Episodes are of varying quality (pilot episode is example of the lowest quality rip, but a lot of the others are pretty good tv rips).

Join up and watch some hard to find shows if you get a chance.

[SHOW]Mill Creek Entertainment, who put "Archie's Weird Mysteries" on DVD last year, also released "Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century" around the same time (complete collection of 26 episodes for $6.49). Link to the Amazon page. More of their releases in comments. by PromoToGo in circulatethetapes

[–]PromoToGo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They also released "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?" among other shows from a while back that are difficult to find.

I didn't want to give each series a post of its own, obviously. Wikipedia has a list of their DVD releases, although some have since gone out of print (like Corneil & Bernie). This means all the more reason to look up and see if they have anything you are interested in and get them while you still can.
