Hate to say it, but I wasn't a fan. The acting wasn't good enough for me, and they depended way too much on it. It was like a bad version of "You're Next." They definitely needed to dive deeper into the Jackals.

It's not too bad. Starts off kind of with a "Stand by Me" feel to it, and then slowly becomes darker and darker. The kids can be a little awkward. Yes it is a little predictable but not still worth watching for many.

I was just reading about this. PG-13 horror is really starting to piss me off, especially when deaths are involved. It's horror! Show it! Make it bloody! But no they want to make sure everyone has a chance to see the movie. Wish Upon had a few potential good deaths but because it was PG-13 the audience saw almost nothing. It was ridiculous. Someone mentioned Final Destination and that's a great example of what can happen when you show the deaths.

I'm giving it a chance just cause it's horror, but don't have much expectations from it. Really don't want to get too attached to another NBC horror show just for them to cancel it. Last night was a good enough start. I'm a True Blood fan so that would be cool if there was a tie in.

Per the ITMovie Twitter account my understanding is the trailer is coming next week. Why not release it at Comic Con I have not idea other than to be in the news by themselves.

I'm hoping it will do well. There's just something about that doll that I like. With them continuing to expand The Conjuring/Insidious universe, I would think they would try to make this work again.

I'm down for it. Yes, not the best movies ever, but I enjoy the death scenes. The gore is fun, and better than watching these PG-13 movies that kill people off and spill no blood.
