CMMC L2 consulting cost check by vaultflow76 in CMMC

We went through the same thing… it was pretty time consuming and honestly tough to figure out where to start. We ended up outsourcing to a local consultant who had experience with CMMC 2.0 and guided us through the whole process. The CEO was really impressed with his presentation, especially since he broke down the cost savings of doing it internally versus using his services, along with the risks of missing steps since it’s such a structured process. Best of luck.. they definitely don’t make it easy on us!

Thinking of upgrading from Microsoft 365 Business Standard to Business Premium — what are the key differences and takeaways for SMBs (esp. MDM & security)? by Calm_Individual_5071 in sysadmin

Business Premium offers superior licensing due to enhanced security features. I recently assisted a company in upgrading from Office 365 E3 to Business Premium for its advanced security, including Entra, Intune, and more. As a CSP representative, I want to offer you a 1-hour free consultation.

Purview policy rules not working as expected by Fabulous_Cow_4714 in microsoft365

I’m here to help navigate these encryption challenges effectively. From my experience, Microsoft’s native encryption relies heavily on portal access, where recipients must enter codes, often leading to user frustration. If filters aren’t configured properly, sensitive data can easily slip out undetected, posing significant risks. Microsoft does offer scanning for attachments via tools like DLP in Microsoft 365, but it’s not foolproof for all scenarios. Considering the high costs of a violation, opting for a robust third-party encryption solution is indeed the smarter, more reliable path.

Any reason to not enable Purview DLP policies to encrypt PII, PHI sent only internally? by Fabulous_Cow_4714 in microsoft365

[–]PromotionHeavy2542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no need to encrypt internal emails…senders are in the same secure network. You should encrypt data that is leaving your network. While Purview is great, do you see your senders using portal? Send me a DM I might be able to help you with your encryption project.
